First of all - the amazing view from the balcony. Simply breathtaking. We didn't even switch on the tv while staying there for 3 days, we just stared at the waves... The room was spacious and super clean, nicely decorated. The food!!!!! We got halfboard option and it was the best decision. Both restaurants were amazing, the dinner for me was a day ending adventure of itself every day.

Dette designhotel ligger på en istandsat traditionel bondegård, på en klippe ud mod Atlanterhavet. Awesome view from this hotel combined with a great breakfast made this a real treat for us. Together with the great weather for this time of the year we really enjoyed the outdoor areas.

Det nyrenoverede 4-stjernede Hotel Baia Azul ligger ideelt, 4 minutters gang fra stranden i Funchal. Great hotel near the sea... it's very big with different things to do there .. it has a few restaurants, a great outdoor swimming pool, great views from the main restaurant where I had my breakfast.. you could see the sunrise and the sea.. it's really really nice. Rooms were big and clean , bathroom was great as well. Room service was top notch , each day there were leaving extra snacks/fruits in my room, they were very attentive, the hotel is a bit expensive but it's worth it, you can't go wrong with it.

Located in Levadas, Hotel Riu Madeira - All Inclusive features a restaurant, fitness centre and bar. This 4-star hotel offers free WiFi. Every room is equipped with a balcony. We had a lovely time - everyone was super nice, the side view to the ocean was gorgeous, and the food was good as well. The hotel is 15 min by Uber/Bolt from Funchal center, but there was also a free shuttle bus.

Les Suites at The Cliff Bay har en opvarmet udendørs swimmingpool og en have i Funchal. Ejendommen ligger i Sao Martinho-kvarteret og tilbyder gæsterne adgang til spabad, sauna og 3 restauranter. Everything was elegant and top quality, so much attention to detail that made our stay feel so luxurious. We had a suite with garden access, with a large veranda area. The whole suite was very spacious and very comfortable. Service and support was top notch! Breakfast views from the Avista restaurant are stunning. The food was excellent, and we would highly recommend having lunch and dinner there if time allows. We had access to the facilities of the Cliff Bay hotel next door, wish we had more time to make full use of everything on offer!

Hotel Atrio er et lille familiedrevet, landligt hotel på den solrige, sydlige side af Madeira. Quite location but easily accessible to my points of interest

Castanheiro Boutique Hotel ligger i Funchal. Marina do Funchal ligger 500 m fra hotellet, hvor der findes en spa, spabad samt en udendørs swimmingpool, der er åben året rundt. Great location, breakfast, staff, rooms… No complaints, thank you! Pool opening times could be longer to accommodate people returning from trips.

Dette 4-stjernede hotel i Funchal ligger blot 100 m fra Atlanterhavet. Der er 5 swimmingpools, 4 restauranter og moderne indkvartering med tekøkken og balkon. The residence is a part of Vila Porto Mare resort, consist on 3 hotels with beautiful rich gardens and large nice pools. The apartment was very spacious with a lovely terrace and view to the garden, well equipped with all we need in the kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and maintained apartment, daily housekeeping, Strong wi-fi, very large and comfortable beds, quite and calm. 10 of 10 for the apartment. The area od the gardens and pools are really magnificent, both in day and night, you can't stop wandering around and look everywhere. Very nice view of the sea. The staff in reception always very kind, smiley, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent, rich, tasty, varied and fresh with all that you may ask for breakfast buffet. Good location outside the center of Funchal, close to the beach, the Lido and with many restaurants in the In the immediate vicinity. We used Bolt to travel to the center of Funchal or to close restaurants. There is a big supermarket near the complex and it is very convenient. We had a rented car and there was no problem to find parking place outside the hotel. The only downside is that we had only 4 nights and not more. Next time in Madeira, we surely return to the residence, for more nights. Great place for couples and for families with kids in all ages. Again, the areas of the pools and gardens are amazing. The Residence is really highly recommended place for all its components – The Apartment, The staff, the public area, the pools, gardens, the breakfast, the location and the total maintenance and appearance of the resort.
