Not long after we left our car left the road due to the snow and our host Per was very kind and superb and arranged for his friend to come with a tractor and rescue us. A buffet breakfast is available at the accommodation. At The Wood Hotel by Elite you will find a restaurant serving Italian, local and Asian cuisine. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. Breakfast was different in a good way. Local produce, fresh salad and huge array of pickles. Some standard breakfast items too, also of high quality and local where possible. The VANA spa on the top floor with views over the city is spectacular. Drinks prices were reasonable.

At Lapland View Lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a spa centre. Beautiful rooms which were even more modern and nicer than expected and that are well heated, great and diverse breakfast with vegan/vegetarian options, wonderful staff and awesome activities for reasonable prices (we did almost all of them). We loved the place and its mostly secluded surroundings and definitely recommend it.
