It's a great place to stay! Very well connected wiith the city centre, tram stop is only 3 mins away. The rooms are clean ans spacious and the staff is the nicest! I always stay at the Donnersberg when I visit Darmstadt!

The room was large and provided ample seating opportunities. Plenty of sockets for charging the phones etc. The bathroom was perfectly clean. It also had a very large back-lit shaving mirror. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of bread, müsli, vegetables, fruit and condiments. Eggs were freshly cooked on order as desired. The car could be parked on the premises (after folding the sideview mirrors to get through the entrance). Public transport was available close by and so were restaurants.

The hotel has a great vibe and we loved our short stay there! Our room was spacious (2 rooms) and comfortable. There's a beautiful garden in the back with places to sit and a small football pitch. The common area was very much alive in the evening, with DJ and food and drinks. The breakfast was reasonably priced and had a decent number of options. We've already booked another stay here on our way back from holidays :-)
