I had a warm greeting on my arrival. The room had a fantastic harbour and bay view with glorious sun rises and sets. I was there in winter so not a lot open in the area but was available to me was good. Would definitely recommend this charming hotel.

Maria has developed the perfect family-run hotel for the friendly resort of Matala. Staff committed, friendly, efficient, and 24 hour front desk. Bedroom compact, recently refurbished, comfortable bed, constant hot water, chilled fridge, perfect balcony view. All you can eat breakfast - plenty of choice including at least one new item every day (for 12 days!). Lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers and shaded areas. Great pool bar, with food service all day (not evening). Easy 10 minute walk to Matala with its square, shops, beach, and many excellent restaurants (music somewhere most evenings). Bus stop by hotel entrance, giving access to Heraklion, and to other nearby resorts; also plenty of pleasant local walking. (Note, in line with most Greek hotels, toiletries and hospitality tray are not provided.) Look no further.

Very nice and cozy hotel. We enjoyed there a lot. It is near the beach, the food is good and also the stuff was polite. we will for sure come back next year!

Very nice clean triple room with a small balcony oriented towards the sea. Directly on the beach, beautuliful location. A/C functional. Fridge, electric kettle, few plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, hair dryer. Below the room is also a restaurant with local food, good quality for a good price. We enjoyed it with our family. The owners are very kind, helpful and take care about the facility.
