My wife and I were thoroughly satisfied with our stay at the Pensjonat Mikołajki. As one would expect, our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped and maintained. The Wi-fi worked well, both checking-in and checking-out were straightforward, and communication (in fluent English) was easy and efficient. However, in addition to providing the usual services and facilities, the Pensjonat Mikołajki had four exceptional features. First-and-foremost our room had a wonderful view of the harbor and the lake. The second feature was the very convenient location -- almost everything can be reached on foot. Third was the very nice breakfast buffet served in a pretty breakfast room. Fourth, convenient parking is included. While the pension may not have the fancy look of some much-more-expensive hotels, it certainly rivals them in features. And in any case my wife and I actually preferred the traditional wood design of the pension (with abundant flowers and plants) to the glass-and steel design of other establishments.

Amax is a boutique hotel located directly on Lake Mikołajskie, on the Wielkie Jeziora Mazurskie trail with its own marina.

Atmosphere was very good, food during the breakfast was excellent with various types of deserts. What is more the room was tidy and perfectly set up for us.

Great breakfast, local food, tasty and hearty. Amazing lake view, fresh fish dishes in the restaurant downstairs and just up the promenade. Attentive staff, upgraded room for us due to my wife birthday : ) Recommended place, rented water bicycle as well.

Very nice location on the lake side. Free and secured parking place. Very good breakfast with partial local specialities. Big, very nice room with the balcony and gorgeous view on the lake I enjoyed from the third floor. To come again.

Excellent location by the lake. Friendly and helpful staff. Given spare capacity, I got a free upgrade to a larger room. Was shown a place to safely store my bicycle overnight. Good and copious breakfast (only fresh fruit was missing). A really good experience.
