New ZealandThe renovated building was lovely.certainly the best Ibis we have stayed in anywhere. Central location easy parking on street. Staff were excellent. We completed a 6 day drive on the N2 road from Faro to Chaves and decided we needed 2 nights to relax. This hotel is amazing value and this ancient Roman spa town was worth staying in for sure.Be sure to check out the archaeological dig site in the town museum.

The location in the old city centre near the river and bridge is great. The building is beautiful and fully restored, inside and out. Nice features are the glass floor elements in the breakfast room. Staff is friendly and helpfull. The room is nice, bathroom is spatious, beds are good.

Modern, stylish and well maintained building and facilities. In the city centre, surrounded by restaurants and small shops, but not too much hassle. Unbelievably quiet indoors, this hotel has the perfect combination of both city location and quiet rooms.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Situated in the city center, it allows easy walking access to any area of interest. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The sound insulation allowed for a peaceful night. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and professional.
