Good location, quiet street, but still in the centre of the city. Parking 10 CHF per night, no problem with spaces. Good breakfast, everything we would like to see. Nice and helpful staff. At night the hotel has no receptionist, you have to collect your keys until late. Funny but useful system for the keys - you leave you big key and take small one with you. Same key opens the front door. Rooms are spacious enough, clean and fresh. If you are late there is a fridge with drinks and you just put down what you took. Good system!

Clear instructions to enter the property, spotless apartment and well equipped kitchen. Location was very central but on a quiet street. Beautiful terrace and well cared for plants, trees.

The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Family owned and run. They take a lot of pride in their establishment and work hard to provide a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful, very clean and very welcoming. Off the beaten path but perfect for an authentic experience.

Hotel Collinetta in Ascona can be found amid a Mediterranean park with palm and lemon trees right above Lake Maggiore and offers you rooms with balcony or terrace. The hotel went above and beyond to make our honeymoon stay special! The hotel is in a great location just outside of Ascona, great views of the lake, has a great breakfast and while we didnt eat there the restaurant for dinner looked very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, expecially with our early check out.

This is a family business hotel, they care about all fine details. The location as seen from pics is few meters from the lake promenade. It is less than 5 min walk from Ascona centro bus station. Also 3 min from ship station. You ve access to many restaurants along the promenade.The staff are very friendly and caring. The room is modern and big enough and the bathroom is big, new, and modern. Beds are comfy, shower is nice. Cleanilness is great, they provide daily water, there is a coffee capsule machine. You receive as well Ticino ticket to use public transport during all your stay. Breakfast buffet is great regarding variabilities and you can sit in the terrace by the yard in nice weather. You are very well served from the staff during breakfast. They have a cute dog called melody that greets you on arrival every time. On leaving, we got a very nice freshly wooden oven backed bread as a present. Excellent value of money.
