Pascal and his team have made our trip to Le Thor one we will never forget. What a great host and absolutely the prime location if you want to experience the countryside of France. The rooms are huge and cozy, they feel like royalty rooms. The breakfast included was amazing: fruits, yogurt, bread, etc. Definitely worth it to pay extra for the spa - it just adds so much to the overall experience. Lastly, Pascal made sure we had the best stay - we didn’t have a car so he helped arrange for our cabs and restaurants. We feel very nostalgic looking back at our stay. If there is an accommodation that has set a high standard for us - it is Les Carmes. <3

This campsite is set on the river bank, located in the village of Castellane, within a 5-minute drive of the Verdon Gorge. Free WiFi is provided in public areas and the property has a table tennis table as well as a boules pitch. The campsite is located in a beautiful, scenic area and has a very peaceful atmosphere. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming — they even offered us a more spacious room, which we really appreciated. The grounds are well-maintained and full of charm, and the pool is absolutely lovely — perfect for cooling off after a hot day. We only stayed for one night, but truly wished we could have stayed longer!

The hotel staff welcomed me warmly and I really liked their HOWTO paper with all the very handy instructions. The room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel has a cozy courtyard with tables. It is surrounded by trees and very quiet as there is no road nearby. 5 mins to the beach, 15 mins to the train station

The 3-star apartment has pool views and is 700 metres from Bestouan. The property is non-smoking and is situated 20 km from Orange Velodrome Stadium. The pictures do not do this place justice. An incredible view, location and amenities. The pool was the perfect place to unwind after hiking and exploring town. Claude and her family are amazing hosts and so accommodating. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Amazing location right next to a small, charming beach. We loved the beautifully maintained garden, the pool and all the lovely pieces of furniture spread all over so that you could always find a cosy corner to sit in. The room was perfect for a family of three and it had a very nice terrace as well. The staff was very nice, which also convinced us to eat at the restaurant two nights in a row. The food was good and the atmosphere was beautiful.
