Offering a garden with an outdoor pool, Casa Campanella Resort is located in Capoliveri, 1.5 km from the centre. Free WiFi access is available throughout.

Each apartment will provide you with a patio and a satellite flat TV. Featuring a bath or shower, the private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer. We loved every minute of our stay at Casa Campanella Resort! We stayed in the Sweet Bella Vista apartment which has a very spacious terrace with a private jacuzzi. The view from the jacuzzi on Capoliveri is absolutely amazing. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The park exudes warmth and coziness, with a lovely bar, a delightful swimming pool, and exceptionally well-maintained grounds, rarely have we seen such care and attention! Host Francesco and his family/staff were all very kind and really made us feel at home. They all know what true hospitality really means. Capoliveri is a charming village with typical streets with many shops, bars and restaurants. The whole area is amazing.

Set in the hills overlooking the Gulf of Portoferraio, Santo Stefano is a historic country house offering extensive gardens, panoramic views and a restaurant serving Mediterranean and Tuscan cuisine.

Rooms are set in the main building or in separate smaller ones scattered around the grounds. It features a TV with satellite and cable channels, private bathroom and views of the bay or valley. Santo Stefano is a beautiful, small hotel. The rooms are simple and very clean. The views are amazing...especially from the patios--one of which is an outdoor lounge area and another where they serve breakfast/dinner. You can see mountains and sea all from the same spot. The hotel also provides a lovely breakfast buffet that is included.

On top of Portoferraio's coast, Hotel Acquamarina offers views over the Gulf of Padulella and direct access to the beach below. Free private parking is available here.

The Acquamarina is set in one of Portoferraio's quiet residential areas. The historic city centre is just a few minutes' walk away. Very beautiful setting, a few steps away from a picture perfect beach. The pebbles are smooth and even without swim shoes manageable with added benefit of no sand everywhere. The hotel provides beach towels and on the large balconies (first floor) there is an outside drying rack, recliners and a tabled for breakfast with an absolute stunning view of the Mediterranean. The owners and staff are really welcoming and everything is clean (even the heavily used coffee machine is like new.. remember, this is Italy and they love coffee). The rooms are not particularly big, but with a smart layout. The best is the bathroom; the shower doors fold smartly out of their way giving you a lot of space + the entrance door is of equally genius design (double fold). All is in very good condition and around the sink etc enough room for all of what the ladies need to make themselves look even better. So make sure to have the sea view room and hear the soft noises of the waves breaking and wander off into your dreams. After waking up, you can enjoy an elaborate breakfast in the breakfast area with a particularly interesting floor tile. Private parking is plenty (Elba being a petite island has evidently a shortage of parking). The hotel is easy to reach if you take the road from Portoferraio that follows the coastline. We walked along that road to the town and max 15min downhill and 5min more uphill, excellent for digestion after having had dinner in town. I’ve read remarks on the WIFI: not true, we were there with our teenage daughter whose phone is part of their live. No issues with safety, nothing went missing.
