Opened in April 2014 after a thorough renovation, this ryokan features spacious guest rooms surrounded by tranquil mountains. It is a 7-minute walk to Takachiho Shrine and a 6-minute drive to Takachiho-kyo Gorge. Guests can use WiFi property-wide for free. This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed at during our trip. Set right against the mountain, surrounded by lush green trees and a river running right below us…it was spectacular to see. The onsens were lovely and we used the private onsen right beside the main building.

Love the mattress & pillows, not too hard or soft. My family enjoyed our stay here.

Guests appreciate the value for money of the on-site food and the convenient location. Great location, closest to restaurants and shopping centers. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Bedsheets are clean and high quality. There is really nothing that I can comment against.

This hotel surprised us hugely. For the first time we got to sleep in a caravan hotel and we were a little afraid at first. The room was warm and cozy as soon as we entered. Everything was new and nothing was missing. The workers at the reception were very nice and helped with everything we needed. They even offered us food for breakfast.
