The room was very big and comfortable, super nice room, not very common in Japan. The staff from the hotel is very nice amd helpful. We really liked the place. The roads around are very nice if you like walking to the main temples and village. Heading back to the hotel at night was easier to get a taxi, it takes 5 minutes to get to the hotel.

Located in Nikko, 2.1 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Sanga Nikko provides rooms with free WiFi access. The property is set 10 km from Kegon Falls and 22 km from Nikkō-kokuritsu-kōen. The gentleman managing this facility is truly the ideal host. He was extremely helpful from the very beginning, providing us with suggestions on what to do. He had ready-printed instructions for each activity, which were extremely handy. Complimentary coffee, tea, and bananas are offered every morning. He even bought us sweets! Lastly, he has a small professional studio, and if you are interested, he will take and print out a picture for you for free. The location is very close to Tobu Station, where the bus hub and many rental car agencies are present. We went by bus for hiking but chose to rent a car on a rainy day. I can't recommend this place enough. One of the best experiences in Japan.

Grate experience in Nikko if you are looking for a bit of a remote area. Beautiful and quiet environment. The Onsen in the hotel is amazing, especially the private one! The food was exceptional, such an experience really recommended to book the dinner plan. Very not touristic in the best way, hart to find in Japan.

Our most liked hotel on this trip to Japan. The hotel had had a timeless style and elegance. Very close to the station and included breakfast in the price. Hot spa on the property which was very relaxing. Would definitely stay again

Hacho no Yu ligger i Nikko, 43 km fra Kegon-vandfaldene, og har gratis cykler, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis privat parkering. Incredible location - but very remote!!! Leave plenty of time to get here by public transport, since the final bus to Meteobuchi only runs a few times per day (after which you can organise a shuttle bus to the hotel). The outdoor onsens were absolutely gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the traditional rooms were beautiful. Highly recommend more than one nights stay to make the trip worthwhile.
