Lovely location, very kind and friendly staff, fantastic room and clean facilities and the meals were exceptional. We called from the ropeway station and they collected us within 20 minutes which was nice after a long day of walking. This place is so great it’s my second time back.

The room layout was very practical considering the size. The breakfast was amazing, with a large selection of Japanese and Western style food, plenty of tables and friendly service. The staff were very helpful in changing one of our rooms from a smoking to a non-smoking room (an error we made when booking), holding our luggage after check-out and arranging a taxi to the train station on the same day where we needed to catch a reserved train. The hotel also has small complimentary samples of various skincare products. The view from the 12th floor hallway onto the nearby canal and the city was excellent.

Loved the six hours of self service drinking with a great selection of alcoholic beverages. The included buffet breakfast was well above expectations. The natural hot spring bath was wonderful too!

The location and standard of amenity were superb. The hotel was easily accessible by public transport, locally or to / from the airport. The hot tubs on the top floors are a delight! I had a spacious Japanese style room overlooking the beach and out to sea, perfect for my last night in Japan. Women have a choice of yukata and there are plenty of drinks available in hotel lounge, though as the season slows, they maybe need.more attention to maintain supply. The evening buffet was diverse, plentiful, delicious and very welcome since there was nowhere locally for a snack or lunch. I had great help from a member of staff who spoke excellent English and found and organised a very straightforward (but not obvious) solution for getting me to the airport. Other staff either didn't know about it or couldn't explain and my Japanese wasn't nearly good enough to work it out.
