This was my 4th visit to Hotel Lunata in Playa del Carmen since 2002. On the surface, very little has changed over the years. In this case, that is a very good thing! Of course there has been some modernization in that time, such as very good WiFi for each room, however the warm and inviting room design, the friendly staff and the overall impression the hotel leaves have all not changed. We again had a very pleasant visit and were sad to leave. The breakfast is very basic with some cereals, tea, coffee and toast. It’s enough to get you going into the day, but it’s not a feast and is not the main focus of this boutique hotel. It is self-service in the Lunata natural garden, just like it was in 2002. We brought some fruits from the market and the staff offered to peel and cut the fruit for us. Fantastic service.

Beautiful hotel. Rooftop pool was nice, view from rooftop was amazing. Staff went out of their way to take care of us. Will definitely stay again.

The people are wonderful and everything is made easy for you to have a good time. The diving organised and instructed within the hostel is a huge bonus

Dette 4-stjernede strandresort ligger ved Akumal-bugten, blot 20 minutters kørsel fra Tulum. Resortet har 2 swimmingpools ved stranden samt 3 restauranter, der serverer internationale retter. The resort was an awesome size. Everything within walking distance in a couple minutes. 4 restaurants, sushi bar & 24 hour snack bar. And the the buffet had a great assortment to pick from every day. Every room has an ocean view. 💙. Live music and bands at the main bar 🍸.

Located in Playa del Carmen, Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Playa del Carmen has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and free WiFi. Isaac at the reception did a good, thorough and professional job explaining about the hotel, perks of an IHG member and finding my reservation. The room is big with a helpful balcony. I was given a quiet area as requested when booking. Roomkeeping and cleanliness were very clean and the huge bed, very comfortable and exceptional. The shower was hot enough with ok pressure. I am very happy with the very central location especially during Carnival and would not hesitate to recommend to others and stay here again.
