This is without doubt the best hotel of my several weeks long trip to Norway and back again. I discovered it accidentally and at first just came to see the lighthouse and have a dinner. But spending some time there made me think that I actually want to return for a night at this place. And oh boy, it exceeded all my expectations! It was two orders of magnitude better than hotels twice the price. I'm not sure if I've ever met so friendly and helpful staff who really made the whole difference - it felt more like staying at a friend's place rather than at a hotel. The food was great, the bed - one of the best I've ever slept on. And it's a pity I had time only for one night, I already miss this place and want to come back. Oh, and of course - the location and the opportunity to climb up an operating lighthouse! Also, please, pretty please, make it possible to come there for the nothern lights!

The view from the room was superb. The hotel is nice and modern. The reception on the 11th floor has a beautiful view of the bay. The staff is super nice. Although it’s close to the airport you can’t hear any noise from the room. Easy to park nearby.

Gem of a hotel! Decided to stop at Mo i Rana on our way to Bodo and this hotel is exceptional. The interior rooms are quite big and bathrooms have heated floors. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wished we stayed for another night.

Enter Backpack Hotel is situated in Tromsø city centre and is for young travelers. It offers a communal kitchen and dining area. All rooms and apartments include free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. Staff were so welcoming and accommodating and the shared dining/lounge space was really cozy and nice. The room was fine but the shower was a little tiny. All in all it was a great stay and would recommend to anyone solo traveling. The location was fantastic also! Walking distance to everything
