Located in the historic town of Vila Vicosa and 300 metres from Paco Ducal, Hotel Solar Dos Mascarenhas includes a 16th-century building, stables and mature gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi and has an outdoor pool with a sun terrace. The hotel was in a great location. The front desk was great. If you need good internet this can be a problem. They gave me an extender which worked well. Highly recommend this property.

Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Great location just outside the walls of the old town. Everything within a walking distance. The room was spotless and breakfast though basic yet was very good. Staff are very helpful and did their best to accommodate us in spite of the high occupancy during the time of our stay that kept them very busy all the time.

It offers a salt water swimming pool and features solar panels, which provide most of the property's electricity. Loved this hotel and the staff. Quiet well appointed clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Everything was excellent. This hotel is so incredibly clean and the owners make you feel at home. I loved staying here

The Roman Temple is 300 metres away. Front desk staff were exceptionally accommodating. Very service oriented. Fascinating, old-world hotel full of character. Beware - lots of stairs. Terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a drink, which you can supply if you wish or you can purchase from the hotel.

Nice little Alentejo town, relaxed and easy going. Great for one or two overnight stay(s). Lovely old Manor House with beautyful decoration through out.
