Dit elegante hotel uit 1852 ligt op 5 minuten lopen van het centraal station van Göteborg. The hotel receptionist told us that it was going to rain soon and that if we needed an umbrella, we could use the hotel's umbrellas. This is a hotel that I love, with a lot of attention to detail.

This was a perfect place to stay. Our hosts were kind, caring and helpful. Thechotel has been totally renovated and is spotlessly clean. There is a nice terrace with a view over the sea and a bar open from 1500 to 2000 for the residents. The fish soup on our last evening was delicious.

Strandflickornas Husen invid Havet is een accommodatie met 3 sterren tegenover het strand in Lysekil met heeft een tuin, een restaurant en een bar. We stayed in one of the small houses/studio by the sea with own jacuzzi. It was magnificent!! We loved our own sauna space that during summer is turned into a relaxing room with an outstanding sea view! Everything was amazing but that which touched us the most was the professionalism of the staff and of the people in charge. Specific needs/situations were met and resolved with the highest professionalism as I had yet not met before ( and I do travel a lot both in Sweden and abroad). Thank you so much to all staff and to this amazing place that made my daughter’s 21th birthday an unforgettable one ♥️ And as a touch of pure grace, we had the amazing experience to see and touch the bioluminescence of “ Mareld” that were present by the shore so close to our studio! Better we could not ask for! Will definitely come back…and not only once!

3 Bedroom Stunning Home In Hökerum ligt in Hökerum, op 27 km van Borås Arena, 28 km van Borås Centralstation, en 26 km van dierentuin van Borås. Zeer ruimte vakantiewoning met een leuke, rondgaande indeling, gelegen op een boerenerf met een tweede woning (van de eigenaren) en een boerenschuur. Vriendelijke dame die voor het warme water zorgt (wordt houtgestookt). Er lopen geiten en konijnen rond, erg leuk voor de kinderen. Huis is voorzien van een ruime keuken, vaatwasser en wasmachine. Het ligt vrij afgelegen (voor Nederlandse begrippen), heerlijk om bijvoorbeeld even naar het nabijgelegen kleine meertje te gaan (enigszins verstopt in het bos) om lekker te zwemmen.

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at this beautiful place! Everything was super clean and comfortable. There are very nice amenities like sauna, pool & hot tub. We could spot a few elks and deer on the field in the evenings. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We would stay here again and highly recommend this place!

Lovely Home In Ånimskog With Wifi biedt accommodatie in Ånimskog, op 19 km van treinstation van Åmål. This place is perfect for families – swing, sandpit, playhouse with slide, and a trampoline kept the kids happy. The internet is lightning fast, which was a big plus (300mbit, and that in the forest). The house has a cozy “grandma’s hunting lodge” feeling – warm wooden furniture, rustic details, and a sense of tradition that makes you feel instantly at home. It’s the kind of atmosphere where you can imagine sitting down with a cup of coffee after a walk in the forest, surrounded by memories and stories from generations past. At the same time, everything is functional, clean, and in good working order, which made the stay very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming – I was even greeted with a homemade welcome cake! Everything was spotless clean and very well organized. The bed was honestly the best I’ve slept in so far in Sweden – not too soft and spongy like most others, but really comfortable. The nearby lake is just around the corner, although the weather didn’t give me the chance for a swim this time. A very quiet location where I slept exceptionally well. Highly recommended! Note: Of course you need to be aware, that you should either bring your own bed linen or you can rent some via the hosts and electricity is charged extra Both is common in Sweden but might be surprising for an international traveller not so familiar with the Scandics. But it's absolutely not a deal breaker and reasonable. You'll even be able to get some, it you missed out on that like me. It is stated in the rental conditions though, but who does really read them?
