An unforgettable experience in Bukit Lawang! The jungle trek was absolutely incredible. Surrounded by lush landscapes, the sounds of the rainforest, and the magical encounter with wild orangutans — everything was perfect. Our guide was passionate, caring, and deeply respectful of nature. He took the time to explain everything, which made the adventure even more meaningful. The trek was well organized, with nice breaks and even a delicious meal in the heart of the jungle. A truly authentic immersion in nature — I highly recommend it to all wildlife and adventure lovers

Beautiful villa in the heart of the village. Very nice owners. Mineral water at your disposal at all times. Big open spaces to enjoy as a family, and very nice and clean rooms to enjoy quiet times. The patio is charming.

5 stars is not enough to rate our experience! We had a really great time at Magpie homestay. The accomodation is pretty, comfortable, clean, and surrounded by a very beautiful and private tropical garden. The host will cater to your every need, from transportation to local activities and offers delicious homemade meals. We also booked a day-long trek with them and it was perfect, the guide and his assistant did everything they could for us to have the best experience in the forest (and we did!). If you want to discover a bit more the tourist part of the village you will have to walk a little to reach it (or use a tuktuk), the path is easy to follow and you'll be able to get a good view of the area. The entrance of the park is a short walk from Magpie.
