SingaporeOur host Shin was excellent - responsive and very helpful. He welcomed us when we arrived and explained the beautiful property to us. The house, a traditional wooden structure, was very clean and newly renovated/restored with fireplace and comfortable beds. The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 separate bathrooms and 2 separate toilets which was comfortable for 7 of us. It was a joy to stay in the place which had a full kitchen with modern appliances and generous dining ware - we even had shabu-shabu one night! There is a private zen garden against a backdrop of forest greenery. Perfect for quiet time and relaxation. Also, best to drive there (free parking) and it's close to attractions and hiking trails. We will certainly return.

United StatesThe property is beautifully maintained and very clean. If you've never stayed in a traditional Japanese house before, this is a great way to experience it. The area is quiet, with only the slight sound of running water just outside your bedroom window. Baths are well cleaned and great for taller/bigger people.
