Chapter Cottage, Cheddleton Nr Alton Towers, Peak District, Foxtail Barns, the Ashes ligger i Cheddleton, 17 km fra Alton Towers, 20 km fra Trentham Gardens og 25 km fra Buxton Opera House. Lovely little character cottage in a quiet village location. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs up steep, narrow stairs no it might not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The washing machine was very useful and the croissants and breakfast items provided were a lovely addition. The host Christine was very kind and helpful in answering my questions and making sure we had a convenient parking space on the street outside. It was convenient for attending a wedding at Foxtail Barns and we had a lovely stay.

Honeyberry Cottage -PART OF ALTON COTTAGES ligger i Alton, 26 km fra Trentham Gardens, 42 km fra Buxton Opera House og 46 km fra Chatsworth House. Her er en gårdhave og gratis wi-fi. It was a lovely cottage and not to far for us to travel

Swallows Rest ligger i Leek, 18 km fra Buxton Opera House, 22 km fra Alton Towers og 32 km fra Chatsworth House. Dette feriehus har en have, grill, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Everything was perfect and we would definitely stay again!

Malthouse Farm Cottage Carriage ligger ca. 16 km fra Trentham Gardens. Her er balkon, kedel og udsigt til en have. We spent the weekend here with a 6 year old 2 year old. The children wanted to move into the carriage for good. It was a fantastic experience and we got so close to the cows each morning. This carriage was a 20 minute drive from Alton Towers. Jayne the host provided all info by text message and shared contact details if needed. Although not iscolated we felt we had privacy and wasn’t on someone else’s land as such. We felt comfortable in the carriage. It was chilly outside all weekend but the carriage was toasty and warm. Everything was provided including towels and fresh milk. There is a restaurant 5 min walk one direction and another pub/food place 5 min walk in the other direction. We liked this as we could leave the car at the farm and walk to dinner as we aren’t confident country road drivers especially at night. Please book this as a couple break or for an experience with younger children. A really bespoke experience. The views from the carriage of lane and country side was out of this world.

Me and my family stayed here for the weekend, the cottage is absolutely charming. we loved the Halloween decorations, the quality furnishings and the homely feel. It was spacious and very comfortable, had everything you needed, very close to Alton towers which we visited for my son's birthday. Hopefully we can return another time 😊
