It's a little cottage in the middle of the forest, an enchanted ambiance during the winter time. The host, Ninna, lives nextdoor and is exceptionally helpful and available. In the cottage there is litterally everything to feel comfortable, the kitchen is fully furnished, with induction plate, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, with all the tools, all brand new. There is heating, but you can also lit up the fire in the old fireplace. In the bedroom there is a 2 persons bed and a sofa-bed for 2. The bathroom is in a little construction just outside, with the shower, washing machine and the sanua. There is plenty of space to park your car. The bus stop is not far, and runs every hour.

The entire place is like stepping into a fairytale. The house itself is beautifully designed, with thoughtful interior touches that show the owner’s incredible eye for detail. Every piece of furniture, every color — perfectly matched to create a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. It's spacious, fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could wish for, and designed for pure relaxation. It truly felt like a luxurious home in the middle of nature. The owners were incredibly warm, kind, and helpful — always making sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. Getting there is also easy, with public transport available. The bus ride through the golden farm landscape is an experience in itself! There are bikes available for guests, and we loved cycling through the endless golden fields, discovering hidden gems like a mini beach and even a small jungle on the property. Every day brought a new adventure. You’ll need at least a week to truly soak in the beauty, peace, and joy this place offers. Whether you're looking for rest, inspiration, or a romantic escape — this place is unforgettable. Highly, highly recommended!

The surroundings are suitable for walks and relaxation in the nearby forest. I recommend visiting the historical site "Gamla Uppsala kyrka" as well as the nearby museum, which are only a few minutes walk from the accommodation. In the city of Uppsala you must not miss the beautiful cathedral "Uppsala domkyrka", Uppsala Castle, the botanical garden and many more.

The host was very welcoming, the house very clean and well equipped, the beds super comfortable and the bathroom great. And it was great to have access to both CNN and the BBC on the TV.
