We had a fab stay here with our little dog. The view from our room was amazing. We really enjoyed the breakast, and we love the pool, and the beach/rocks that is accessible from the garden. This is the second time we stayed and would definately stay again ❤️

We were thrilled with our room, with its balcony with seats facing west; it was so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too, beautifully prepared and the owner was very friendly. We will definitely return when we start our next stage of the SW coast path.

The house was located on the main road which is made of stones. You can't open the window because there is incredible noise from 5 a.m., especially cars driving on these stone or people passing by. A huge mess

Tremendous amount of thought gone into this lovely place: from the welcome cream-tea, to absolutely everything working in tip-top condition, and to the provided beach towels. The short driveway is quite steep, but roadside parking right opposite is plentiful. Twenty minute walk into town, where once you accept the approaches are a bit run down, it is a lovely place, especially around the harbour. Lovely boat ferry trips to Torquay. Lots of buses run from bottom of of the road. Ten minute walk to Sainsburys Local.

We liked the town very much, although it was pirate festival so not seeing it under normal circumstances. We ate at Beamer's and The Berry Head Hotel, both excellent. There is a vibrant working harbour and the whole place is very walkable. The pirates were fun too!

Brixham is a working fishing harbour, so if you like eating...
Brixham is a working fishing harbour, so if you like eating fresh fish it is a no brainer. The centre is based around the harbour and there are some short flat walks round the harbour and along the breakwater. There are several good restaurants (not all fish), two or three nice pubs, a wine bar and a cocktail bar. There are some wonderful views if you walk up to Berry Head and the old fort. You can of course walk the coastal path north to Paignton and Torquay or south to Kingswear and Dartmouth. Or instead take the ferry or book a longer boat trip. There is also the steam train from Torquay to Dartmouth which you can intercept at Churston.

Great choice for places to eat.
Great choice for places to eat. The walks around the area are so scenic but hard going if you are not used to hiking. Lots of places where you can just sit in peace and quiet. Worth a walk up to Berry Head and the forts. Some nice nature walks as well. Also walk up to the Battery and the coves just further along the coast path.

Beautiful harbour area and stretch of the South Coast Walk.
Beautiful harbour area and stretch of the South Coast Walk. It's a lovely town that does not have the winter shut down feel of some other coastal towns in the UK, probably because it is also a working port town so never really completely switches off.
We ate in La Petit Maison and Rock Fish; both fabulous restaurants that I can highly recommend and drinks/cocktails in Liberties on the Harbour front; also very much recommended.

We were returning to visit relatives.
We were returning to visit relatives.
Brixham is an historical fishing village with a great deal of character. There are many lovely places to visit in the area which are not too far from Brixham.
The coast is lovely with lots of places to walk and enjoy the seascape.
During the summer you can take a trip on the Western Lady crossing over to Torquay.
There are a selection of local shops were you can stock up on provisions without the need to go too far.
You can also enjoy a trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway, joining at the station stop on Dartmouth Road.
Kingswear is a short drive where there are beautiful views of the River Dart and neighbouring Dartmouth accessible by car or foot passenger ferries.
Lovely friendly welcome from Linda and Joe who made us feel like friends straight away, nothing was too much trouble at all. Our room was immaculate, lovely and modern with everything you could ask for, bath robes were even supplied for the mini spa facilities, they really have thought of everything. The breakfast choices available are the best we’ve ever seen and we weren’t disappointed when it arrived, delicious. An amazing Guest House, would thoroughly recommend Brookside for your next trip to Brixham. We will definitely be back.
It’s really close to the harbour and the best of Brixham. The view from our room was unbeatable and the accommodation was spotlessly clean, charmingly decorated, and everything worked. The hosts were wonderful company and provided superb service. The menu, the quality ingredients and the chef’s flair made for outstanding breakfasts. We really appreciated the advice given about where and what to eat in town - all Herve’s tips were spot-on. The whole weekend was a joy and one we can’t wait to repeat later this year.
The property was in a great location over looking the harbour with great views. It was very clean with lots of character. Rosie and Matthew were excellent hosts, very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was delightful with a vast menu of home made hot and cold food, freshly made, along with real coffee, home made yoghurts, cereals, jams and marmalades. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking arranged nearby. We didn’t use the car once since we arrived so much to see and do.
Wonderful welcome a bottle of wine & a pint of milk in the fridge box of chocolates and treats for the dog, absolutely spotless throughout towels and bed linen provided really comfortable with all mod cons and stunning views, cross the road and down a few steps and your sitting outside the prince William bar and restaurant or a short walk to the Harbour and town centre Julie was an amazing host looking forward to coming back.
Location was perfect for my friend and I - we were attending a wedding at the Berry Head Hotel.
The caravan was immaculate, very cosy and nice decor. Very surprised to receive a fabulous welcome pack, everything you could need. This is by far the best air b&b I have stayed in. Thoroughly recommend. 100% will stay here again when visiting Brixham. Thank you very much.
Really great location , in one direction a short country walk to the beach and head the opposite direction 0.6 mile and you are in beautiful and characteristic Brixham , the best of both worlds . The apartment was spacious , well furnished and everything as advertised visually was there in reality , perfect for short and longer breaks .
The breakfast choice was extensive and all excellent. Our room 1 was comfortable and well equipped heating available and arm chairs with folding card table plenty of sockets. Limited window view but dining room had lounge area with access outside small courtyard. Good parking spaces only 15mins walk to Brixham Harbour and restaurants.
Stunning Lodge, clean homely those extra bits that go the extra mile. The view are outstanding. So quiet. We can honestly say it was amazing perfect for a quiet break but close enough to the stunning brixham harbour. Lots of places to eat and drink, all dog friendly
This has to be my new happy place, can not wait to go back
Had a 1 night stay at this lovely hotel. Never been to Brixham before but would definitely recommend a visit and to stay at the Harbour View. Rooms decorated to a high standard. Breakfast delicious. No parking but the hotel organised it for us, a short walk away for a reasonable fee. Staff all helpful and friendly.
Beautiful quirky cottage, so cosy. We arrived on a cold January evening. The cottage was beautiful and lovely and warm. Great location. We loved the dining room on the first floor. Great view of the harbour while having your breakfast. Bedrooms cosy and comfy beds.
Decorated and equipped to a high standard. Very clean and good communication with host. Walking distance to the harbour, shops, bars and restaurants. Host was very helpful and friendly and made sure we had a great stay. Would definitely recommend it. 😁.
Great breakfast, excellent evening meal in the bar, fantastic views with only a short walk to the harbour. Secure parking close by. A special mention to Earl for being so helpful and humorous, he is a real asset to the Quayside Hotel
A cute cottage close to the harbour. Beautifully renovated and decorated. Comfy bed and lovely facilities in kitchen and bathroom. Lots of space for 2 and a small dog, but could accommodate 4. Would stay again!
Very friendly, clean and breakfast was yummy! Great central location and fabulous views of Brixham from our room. We had one dog with us and very dog friendly. Highly recommended
Made very welcome, all staff extremely friendly and polite. On future visits to Brixham we know that The Station Hotel will be the first port of call to book our stay.
The accommodation was superb, with possibly the best balcony view in Brixham, fantastic location for the town and harbour, the welcome pack was spot on.,
