Everything about the stay was perfect. The building was beautiful, our room was out of this world and the host, Anna, could not have done more. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer.
The Lamb is a historical Cotswold Inn that dates back to the 15th century.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area.
Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre.
We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Beautiful place to visit, walk around, shop, eat and drink and enjoy the incredible architecture
Take your camera. There's lots to photograph.
Fantastic Garden Centre just outside is also worth a visit with lots of stores of other items and clothing. The restaurant is excellent.
The Highway Inn is well located on the High Street in Burford close to all the shops and whilst it does not have its own car park there were plenty of parking bays available outside and opposite. This was free parking overnight, although time limited during the day. All hotel staff were extremely friendly and especially kind to my dog - I felt he was very welcome in both the room and the restaurant area. I had a spacious and comfortable room on the top floor. Food in the restaurant was delicious both for dinner and breakfast.
Everything was perfect. Anna is an amazing and kind host with a gorgeous, character filled home. The details speak for themselves as you explore the majestic corridor and living spaces. Many people come to the Cotswolds for a fairytale experience, and that's very much what you get here. Anna serves a delicious healthy breakfast in the mornings and makes sure you're ready for your day however she can. The cherry on top was spending time with her very precious and big personality pack of pups :) Thank you again Anna
The welcome from Peter and Sally, the location, the room, the facilities. We received a warm and sincere welcome. Our room was extremely comfortable and very well appointed, clean with plenty of space. The breakfast was exceptional. The location was perfect as a base to explore the Cotswolds with Peter providing us with local maps for local walks. The local pub in Fulbrook was also lovely and with only a 5 mins drive or 15 min walk to Burford, there is plenty locally to see and do and explore.
I have always wanted to stay at the Lambs Inn in Burford, as we have been to the Cotswolds in the past. I remember walking by the hotel and peaking in the window and seeing a lovely room, thinking to myself . . . “oh how lovely!” Reality wasn’t disappointing! 🥰. I love the beautiful, charming, mix of old world European structure with modern day comforts. The mixture was bucolic and inviting. The staff was very nice and helpful.
This is a pub with only two guest rooms, not a high end fancy hotel, which suited us perfectly. Relaxed environment, large, private room with its own entrance, The Royal Oak is right in the centre of Burford but still really quiet. The staff were all cheerful and attentive. Breakfast was exceptional and served in the residents’ bar by the guy who cooked it: he was great, efficient, friendly and an English breakfast master chef!
This property was everything we hoped it would be. Quiet, comfortable, relaxing, and a short walk into Burford. Very clean, comfortable, and easy to find. Fire was wonderful, lots of little touches like fresh milk and bread on arrival went above and beyond. Towels were fluffy, bedding perfect. I'm a light sleeper, so really appreciated the black-out curtains and silence at night.
The hotel is an awesome building, to start. And it's s located right on the way to Cotswolds from London, which is great. Our room was great - roomy, with tea and coffee in the room, good furniture and lighting. The room itself seemed recently updated. The bed was very comfortable, we finally had a good night's sleep. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was very good.
Loved the restaurant and service we had in there. Food was amazing and the service from the young short chap with dark hair (not sure of his name) he was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful
Also, the location is great for Burford centre, only a 2 minute walk to the shops. It was easy to park on the street outside the hotel too.
Beautiful dreamy spot—the staff were so nice, perfect food for breakfast and dinner (so good why go anywhere else??!?)—I wish I could stay forever. Torn between wanting to give them the rave they deserve and wanting to keep it a secret place!! I will absolutely be back. Won’t ever stay anywhere else in the Cotswolds!
Burford Lodge Hotel is warm and welcoming, with plenty of parking.
Cosy furnishings in the guest and a bar area.
Great choice at breakfast , all freshly prepared.
Comfortable bed and pillows, bath and shower with complimentary toiletries, big white fluffy towels.
The room was perfectly located with a garden view and very clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a good location with just a short walk to the centre of Burford. The restaurant staff were very accommodating and the food choice and preparation was very good.
Lovely, clean, comfortable. Pretty hotel with nice views. Very helpful staff. The coffee in the breakfast room wasn't that good, but not that big a deal. We'd definitely recommend it. Had a lot of the charm of an old hotel but the niceness of a new one.
This is a super apartment in the middle of Burford Village. I loved the off street parking and proximity to shops and restaurants. Lovely decor and the most comfortable bed that I have slept on in ages and I'll definitely be back.
Very cozy and clean cottage, excellent location, there is nothing not to like about the Burford House. Lots of Extras, Christmas tree and indoor and outdoor Christmas lights were up during our stay.
Comfortable room, dog welcome, large breakfast available if required. Ideal stopover for long journeys - easy access to A40 and good parking. Picturesque walk from hotel down Burford High St.
