Lymington was lovely. We went to the Saturday market where we bought local products for reasonable prices. The Angel pub was a find, as was The 6 Bells for breakfast.
Car parking was available, but quite pricey.
Good location for visiting IOW, the New Forest and Exbury Gardens.

Lymington is charming, historic and a lovely Georgian Town.
Lymington is charming, historic and a lovely Georgian Town. Not having the big chains means there are lots of independent varied outlets. The pub food is always amazing wherever you go and The Haven restaurant is awesome !

Lymington was a great place to visit, it had a real energy and buzz about it. The shops were good, seemed like quite a few independent shops and the charity shops had some quirky items in them, too. The Saturday market exceeded my expectations and was really interesting. The marinas were popular with visitors and it was nice to sit in the sunshine to watch the ferry to the Isle of Wight docking and leaving. Some really nice café and deli places to visit and a host of interesting pubs to sample local ale and gins.

A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques.
A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques. We enjoyed lovely walks around the harbour and along the flats, we could have walked for hours. Great local ice cream and a gluten free flapjack shop - Flapjackery. So good we went back the next day!
The location is close the new forest and an easy drive from home, it’s the first trip for family (the second for me, the previous trip with the girls) and we will certainly return.

The accommodation was first class modern rooms very clean lovely bathroom/shower facilities. Plenty of tea & coffee there for us to use. The beds were very comfortable so we had good nights sleep plus the rooms were nice and warm, and yes we would stay there again.
It's a pleasant pub-hotel on the outskirts of the New Forest and not too far from Lymington town centre or from Beulieu Motor Museum. The pub was nice, food was good and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice with decent choice including vegan options as well. Plenty of parking all round.
Really liked the added Nespresso machine and how comfy the bed is. The location was perfect as it was only a few minutes walk to Lymington high street and a few minutes drive to other locations. The annex itself was very cosy and had everything we needed for the weekend e.g. toilet paper, kitchen towel etc.
Nice main building, good location with golf course and driving range on opposite side of street. We slept well as the the Hotel is located in a quiet location yet not too distant from Lymington. Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful.
Easy access to the coast and into Lymington. The Summerhouse is charming and quirky, and the garden is secure for dogs. Comfortable bed and cosy duvet. Very pleasant owner and family, and they have two adorable chocolate Labradors!
Lovely clean and comfortable room. Great ambience and good food, and above all - excellent service. The staff really looked after me. It is also very near to Lymington Town Station, so extremely convenient for travelling too.
Spacious, comfortable and spotless room. Excellent breakfast and good choice of meals available in the pub. Well located for Lymington, walks in the New Forest and trips to the Isle of Wight. We would definitely stay here again.
The location was fantastic for visiting the new Forrest and as a base for visiting Lymington and it’s fantastic restaurant
The hotel and staff were very warm and welcoming and the breakfast was first class
The location in Lymington was great. The hotel is historic and is decorated entirely in keeping. Toby the host is very friendly and knowledgable and genuinely hospitable. A great stay in a lovely place.
The location is great only just round the corner from The Bosuns Chair which is our favourite pub in Lymington. The bed was very comfortable. We managed to park nearby for the whole week of our stay.
This is a very nice hotel. It has wonderful grounds to walk around and lots of places to sit and relax. Staff were excellent. It is well placed in the New Forest. The bathroom was very large!
Great location situated at the top of lymington high street. Friendly welcombe. The room was well laid out and clean. Nice touches like complimentry toiletries and snacks on the tea tray.
I loved the old world charm, the uneven floors, the old ceilings, this hotel has history and character. The location is good being on the high street and the free parking is a real bonus.
Spacious cottage wuth courtyard located just off the High Street with shops, pubs and cafes nearby. Only a few minutes walk to the Lymington Yacht Haven. Had everything I needed.
