Amazing Greece island with many beautiful beaches.
Amazing Greece island with many beautiful beaches. Local food was also amazing and people were very nice wherever we went. If you are visiting this island, you must see Olympus village. It does take around 1 hour of driving with car from Pigadia, but it's well worth the view. Talking with locals there we learned a lot of history about this island.SSimonSLOSlovenia - 10Scored 10

Great island with amazing beaches. Mountain part is so wild and feels like untouched from the crowds and tourism. All beaches had amazing waters. Many pretty small villages with views at the sea. Sunset from Olympos is stunning.

It is so safe!
It is so safe! The walking is wonderful - many views of the sea. The boat tours were wonderful. So many choices of how to see the island villages. We had a lovely seven village private tour with Apollon Private Tours.

The town folk were friendly and helpful.
The town folk were friendly and helpful. I came a little out of season so quite a few stores and restaurants had shut down. As a result I couldn't get the full compliment of seafood(lobsters) that they usually serve in season, but I also got cheaper deals on other things, such as rental vehicles and hotel accommodationO - 10Scored 10

Karpathos is a wonderful place to visit. There are lots of boat tours that take you to different beaches and the oldest village on the island. The food is amazing and the shops have lots to offer. It is one of the most beautiful places I have been and I have traveled the world.Case

Quiet neighborhood, while only couple of minuntes walking distance from Pigadia center (restaurants cafeterias supermarkets pharmacies etc). The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. Panagiota is a lovely host who went above and beyond. She welcomed us with local and homemade snacks, fresh pies and fruits and was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Location is just outside the town's center but there is a steep upheel. Nothing to scare you off. Terrace is great with nice view. Swimming pool I didn't use but looked okay. Ilias (the host) is very kind and he helped us providing some kitchen stuff we needed in just few hours. The location is 5 mins on foot from the pigadia main street. We recommend it!
