I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. In addition, there is a bus that goes to Dubrovnik’s old town that stops directly in front of the hotel, which is super convenient (it’s the 4 bus). We have been visiting Dubrovnik for nearly 40 years so we have seen it before and after the war. The city and surroundings remain beautiful and I would recommend a once-only visit to anybody. However, and very suddenly, prices have shot up. It costs £30 per person to walk around the walls, or you can buy a city-pass for the same amount which gives access to other attractions as well. The last time we visited in 2012 a walk around the walls was completely free. Meals are expensive too, and all the restaurants seem to be charging the same. You'll inevitably pay £50 per couple for a modest meal and a couple of drinks. However, food in supermarkets is cheap, so the tourists are paying a premium. If you hire a car you can get to Mostar or Montenegro, which are fabulous, and much cheaper. A similar meal in Mostar would be £20. However, Dubrovnik is a fabulous place and well worth a visit.

I would recommend taking the bus instead of an Uber or taxi if available.
I asked the host, but that was not presented to me as an option and I took Uber. One less car trip would be my choice for the environment.

It is very interesting place, very well maintained.
It is very interesting place, very well maintained. The old town is rather small and unless you want to visit all museums, you do not need more than a weekend. Walk on the city walls is a must, as well just walling about the town. Be aware that it is not a cheap place to go out and if you plan to rent a car, parking maybe very expensive
I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Best part of this hotel is the awesome breakfast options, I have seldom seen so much breakfast options as they have. Easily you can skip lunch if you take breakfast slight late around 10 am The Hotel is also located just opposite to ferry port near to the Lapad beach. Bus stop is just opposite to the hotel. Amazing view of the port from the hotel balcony. Parking 15 euros per day if you want to keep your car here. Room also nice and comfortable. All in all superb hotel option in Dubrovnik around 3 kms from Old Town of Dubrovnik.
The view overlooking the sea is beautiful, especially at sunset. Most (if not all) of the rooms have a seaside view with a balcony. We were really lucky to receive a last minute upgrade when checking in and our room was fabulous. The staff were so friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Such a lovely hotel to spend our last few days in Dubrovnik and there is also a bus that leaves directly outside the hotel that takes you into the Dubrovnik old town (this is free if you buy the Dubrovnik pass). .
The staff at this hotel were the nicest! They were so wonderful, had fantastic recommendations for food and activities, and even helped me check in to my flight when my laptop wasn't working. Thank you to Ana especially for making my stay in Dubrovnik so incredible! The rooms were large and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location is about 20 minutes walking (or 5 minutes by bus) from the Old Town, and a 7 minute walk (but 150 stairs) from the closest beach. It was perfect!
Marvellous view of the sea from our room’s balcony. Incredible sunsets. Excellent staff. Great breakfast. There is a very scenic promenade that runs along the short for a kilometre in either direction from the rear entrance to the hotel. Very regular buses to Dubrovnik Old Town just a kilometre from the hotel entrance, with a great range of eating places in between. Dubrovnik itself is a marvellous location. My wife and I can’t recommend it more highly.
Lovely warm welcome from owners who live above the property. Apartment big and spacious with everything that you may need available. Location a few metres from the sea, the 5 star Hotel Rexos next door. A walk of about 25mins to old town. Kitchen was well equipped with a few essentials like pepper and salt, oil were supplied. We walked to old town and ubered back at the cost of 8 euros as its quite an uphill back.
Fantastic hotel and facilities we had zero complaints, the room was really big with a kitchenette, large bathroom and bedroom. The outside areas of the hotel were fantastic again and really clean, the pool area was brilliant and had views over dubrovnik. Not a complaint (as we knew about this prior to booking) but it's a good uphill walk back on a night from the old town.
Nice modern hotel, well situated outside Dubrovnik old town. Our room was spacious, with a small balcony and sea view. The bed was a king size one. Breakfast was good, typical European. Location was really good, around 20-30 min walk from the Old Town. Make sure you reserve a parking place in the garage (15€ per day), because the free outdoor one can easily get full.
Wonderful location 1 min walk from the beautiful beach, in the best surrounding of Dubrovnik, shops, walking trails, bus station with a quick route to the old town. Wonderful hosts that made our stay great. Beautiful garden with a perfect climate. The apartment has everything you need for a long stay, incl. tiny details. We'll definitely return one day!
The hotel is one of the best I've stayed in. If I go back to Dubrovnik, I will only stay at this hotel. From wandering around Lapad and the old town. I recommend this hotel over all we saw. You can share the facilities of all 5 hotels next door. The Blue has an infinity heated pool on the roof which should not be missed at sunset time
Amazing view and location in dubrovnik.
Hotel is right on the beach front so only have to walk down some stairs and your at the beach front.
With a restaurant and bar available.
Our stay included breakfast, coffee was very good.
20 minute bus ride to the main city centre, but still a great location with some markets, restaurants, etc.
Apartment was perfect. Super clean and got all you nead for pleasent stay. All apartment is excelent and you felt like you stay in luxury 5 star hotel. Owner of the apartment was so helpful and provide me all important information about Dubrovnik and route to apartment. Thank you so much.
Hrvoje, Zagreb
Good value, clean and comfortable, our room was huge with a large balcony. Breakfast was very good with something for everyone. Bus stop 50m from hotel. Walk to old town took about half an hour, too hot to tackle when we were there. If I was coming back to Dubrovnik I'd stay at the hotel Ivka again 😊
This boutique hotel is a true gem!!! We had a balcony overlooking the sea! They provided parking, it was an easy walk to the old town and city walls of Dubrovnik, and the food was AMAZING! The room was large, the bed comfortable, every detail was considered, AND…the bathroom had a soaking tub!!
If you come to Dubrovnik you need to stay here. Everything is perfect. It’s basically a four star hotel but for half the price. The owners Dino and Gasper are as friendly as helpful as it can possible get. Location is unbeatable. Quiet but close to the old town. Perfect place.
lovely little flat it has everything you’d need for a short stay. we had a really good time in Dubrovnik and the owner is super welcoming, friendly and gives lots of very helpful and pragmatic advice to enjoy the best the old town has to offer
Super nice hotel in a great location in Old Town Dubrovnik! Check in was easy and we got help with our bags. The room was great, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also great with plenty of room.
Hotel was amazing, best views. Location was perfect. Very close to old town and lots of restaurants. Transportation was available using uber or other apps, or by letting front desk know you needed a taxi.
Great hotel with pool, close to beaches, restaurants and bus. It’s about a 10 min bus ride to Dubrovnik old town and costs about 2 euros. Thoroughly recommend this place
Prijeko Palace was an absolute pleasure to stay at. This hotel is unique, charming, and friendly and in a perfect location for exploring Old Town Dubrovnik.
