The hotel is superbly appointed, the rooms immaculate with exceptional housekeeping, and the food and service a high standard. Most of all the staff I had dealings with were highly professional, polite and very empathic and understanding to the needs of the guest as an individual. Outstanding in this regard were Anne Marie, Tatiana, Sonya and Liga. I recommend this hotel highly and hope to have the opportunity to return.
Situated 5 minutes' drive from Claremorris on N60 east (Ballyhaunis/Roscommon road), Conways B&B is also 15 minutes from Knock shrine and 30 minutes from Ireland West Airport Knock.

Lots of facilities in the area such as a leisure centre and also a shopping centre with a late opening chemist. There are also a number of supermarkets and pubs / restaurants close by.
Lovely town that is close to a number of locations so ideal if you are planning to travel around the Mid West of Ireland or further afield. Good coach and bus links plus a train station too, so plenty of travel options, including being close to Knock Airport.

Room was lovely, v clean.
Room was lovely, v clean. However bar staff and waiting staff for breakfast were not mannerly and left you waiting for ages. Staff were rude. For breakfast they moved us from table even though there was no one at it and made a big deal out of it. They also did the same to an elderly couple after us and they had touched the cutlery and didn't sanitise the table or cutlery and another couple sat there then. Thought this was v unprofessional with covid 19. Kept moving people from tables, very unorganised and v slow considering it was very quiet there. Tables weren't cleaned in breakfast area and this was the same for bar. Only thing good about this hotel is the room, no people skills/customer service in breakfast room or bar area which is a shame.

The trip to Claremoris was very enjoyable as we went to Michael English weekend on the Friday night and Sathurday afternoon in the Mc William hotel. Great entermainent and met a lot of people. We had food in the hotel. Vey enjoyable trip.
I liked the large antiques-filled bedroom with high ceiling. There were various lamps in different corners which added to the atmosphere and increased the sense of space even more. It felt like I was in a grand Victorian hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and had good natural light. The stay represented excellent value esp for the time of year.
I spoke to a lady called Anne who helped with a problem. She couldn’t do enough to help with my personal problem. I can’t thank her enough I would recommended this hotel to any one and would book again to stay in a heartbeat
I have stayed many times at the McWilliam and I always know that I will enjoy my stay here. All the services are second to none. The hotel is always busy but there isn't any noise at night even when there is a show on.
The location was excellent for access to the local town, just a few minutes walk. Quick and easy check in. Spa facilities worked well for me. Staff taking good care of Covid processes was great to see too.
We stayed one night in this lovely property based just outside Claremorris. It was an ideal location. Great value for money. We will certainly be back and we would highly recommend
