the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated being so close to the airport as it made my onward journey much easier. The price for a room for one person was 239 euros, which I find extortionate whether or not this is what hotels in Dublin charge. The breakfast was a buffet which was very disappointing. I expected table service for breakfast at this price. The food had been picked over and it was just not good enough. the reception staff on arrival were excellent and welcoming. Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet only 20-30 minutes by bus from Dublin. We had lunch in the on-site restaurant, and although it took longer than expected for our pizza, all the food was well prepared and tasty. Staff was accommodating, providing fans for the room as requested, and check-in & -out was a breeze.

One thing needed for the beds: A top sheet and a blanket. All they have is a duvet quilt, which gets too hot, but there is nothing to use as an alternative. To our surprise, we were informed that the Hotel had closed and that we were being 'upgraded' to the neighbouring Crowne Plaza.
