Incredible stay and the friendliest staff. Made feel right at home and the food was excellent. Room was very comfortable with great views. Highly recommend visiting when heading to Achill. Very close to Keem and minutes away from the deserted village and Dugort.

Minaun Cliff View, hotel in Slievemore

Set in Achill and only 42 km from Rockfleet Castle, Minaun Cliff View offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Everything about the place is lovely. Well situated. Only 10-15mins drive to Keem or Minaun Heights, overlooking the Keel Beach, and walking distance to the deserted village loop. The sitting hall gives a nice resting space with panoramic view through the large window. Kitchen is well equipped (exceeded our expectations). Bedroom is spacious. Bed is so comfortable- very much appreciated after a long day of hiking and lots of walking. The hosts (Jack and Fiona), are very welcoming. They ensured our stay was perfect and comfortable. 🥰 everything in the place was well thought.

Good location if driving or cycling. Food good.

Good location if driving or cycling. Food good. Room small for family of 4. Pictures deceiving on website. Staff polite and friendly. Keem beach is a must see, beautiful...even in bad weather! Paddle boarding at the lake was really good fun, lake shallow enough for younger children.

Staff members were great. Convenient place when visiting Slievemore Island. Sadly, not on the water. Must drive to the beach or lake. The pizza is really good. Rooms are basic with minimal amenities, towels, and sheets. No outlets in the bathroom for hairdryer etc. No television, either. Hoped to kitesurf while visiting but no wind. They do have a kitesurfing instructor with equipment rental. Great hiking and mountains if looking for beautiful scenery.

The location is second to none, views of Slievemore directly behind the property and then views across to the cliffs in the distance, you can't complain about that. The dinner menu was pretty good, minus the burgers. Go for the pizzas and garlic bread, it's excellent. The surrounding lobby area felt cosy again with excellent views.
