The outlook across the dockyard across the bay was . the noise of the yard didn't really bother us. The small balcony was great and the terrace below lovely.
The hotel was tranquil and felt safe.
The room for 4 was spacious for 2 of us.
Lovely views across the bay, especially sunset.

An interesting area - a slice of real Italian life which we enjoyed after the hustle and bustle of some of the more tourist driven locations.
We ate at La Medusa Hotel sampling exceptional gourmet fine dining.
There are regular train stations travelling along the north and south coast making it perfect to get anywhere.
Local boat trips take you on refreshing scenic coastal tours, however the day trip to Capri was extremely busy with tourists.
An Amalfi coast boat trip is a must and hop off at the little village gem of Positano.

Surprised to find my original review did not "save" properly. We absolutely loved our accommodations. (Two couples) The view is spectacular up and a bit out of the way. We drove down from Rome airport and enjoyed recovery soaking in the sunset on our first night. The hosts were gracious with our delayed arrival due to heavy traffic. We saw Pompeii and Sorrento the next day then much of Amalfi on the third day. We should have planned another night. So perfect! Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed accept we should have bought a big bottle of water along the way.

A perfect location on the train line between Naples and Sorrento so perfect from which to explore the area. I was alone so didn’t venture out much at night but this certainly seemed an option if desired.

The port area is not renovate at all, the outside walls of the buildings are exfoliating and everyone is drying clothes outside the window which is looking very bad. The place is getting very crowed and the driving here is an adventure to escape without a scratch.

I've been visiting Castellammare since 1978.
I've been visiting Castellammare since 1978. Some terrible damage was done in the earthquake of 1980 but the city has progressed past that and is now a beautiful place again. Even better than before. I love the atmosphere and the friendliness xxxx

The bedside floating shelf broke when I put a 2 litre water bottle on it. One of the knobs on the front door came off. Noise from the street is big. Nice bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good central location. No parking.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. Its location is perfect for those who want to avoid the crowded Amalfi and prefer to explore by ferry. It's also conveniently close to numerous restaurants and the main road. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, and the staff, especially Elisa, Giovanni, and the whole team, were truly exceptional in making my stay memorable. The breakfast, with a view overlooking the water, was a great way to start the day. Highly recommended!
The hotel is led by some very enthusiastic ladies who have a good taste in decorating the rooms. I hope the best for thrir future and hotel. It's a perfect spot to stay for holiday or as stating point for tours to Amalficoast, Pompeij snd Naples.
Rooms are perfect, spacious and quiet. The view to Vesuvio is amazing. Breakfast is delightful and made with love. Every question was answered and very helpful hints given. Secure parking is available. More than perfect !!!
The hotel has a private beach with sand/rocks which is rare for the coast and makes it perfect for solo traveller or a couple. Breakfast and dinner restaurant has a terrace overlooking Vesuvious. Dinnee servered in mixhelling guide restaurant and the food and presentation is absolutely amazing. Staff is absolutely happy to help any minute. My room was overlooking the road but there was a single sound going through windows for absolute peaceful sleep
The hotel is fairly new. So anything you touch - is new! Everything is clean, tidy, neat. And, obviously, the view! Stunning. And staff can't be more helpful. This is a family run business, and it is an amazing family! They meet me like a long missing family member coming back home. Nothing was too much to ask. Car parking facilities, etc. All the essentials are there. Close to town and the beaches. Brilliant altogether.
The receptionist was welcoming, gave restaurant recommendations and helped with bookings. They were good recommendations!
A super room which was spacious, stylish with a high standard of finish. Very cool.
Breakfast on the terrace with good food, service and amazing views.
A good location to visit Capri and then head on to the Amalfi coast. It avoids the busy traffic and the hotel and town are reasonably priced.
Comfortable bed. Had a mini fridge and coffee. Never saw the staff or people who run the place. It did not seem like we were in the right place. Far from everything. The view was decent except for the trash and smell the odd time. There is no parking so you need to go to a parking garage. The upstairs tenants were noisy and you could hear stuff throughout the building. This is not a HOTEL.
We were met by Girolamo at the church plaza near the property. We followed him in our car up to the site where there is a dedicated parking space. He was very helpful and friendly. The apartment is well equipped - the coffee was much appreciated in the morining - and a small assortment of snacks made us feel welcome. The apartment has a magnificent view over the bay toward Mt. Vesuvius.
We stayed at the place for 5 nights. The place is amazing and the owner is very kind and friendly. He showed us around and always gave advice on what to do. We felt as in our house. The hotel is very clean, and we watched the sunset over our room. There was a nice breakfast served every morning. It is only 30 mintues to Sorrento and there are small cute beaches around.
The Casa Martina was greatest experience I have had. The apartment was like hotel. Everything was great, house super comfortable and modern for 4 person. House was super clean and secure. Dimtri was really helpful and responds you quickly. Instructions to find house was very easy
Very comfortable and spacious room, super clean and located in a quiet area. Enrico was so kind and helpful! We didn’t have a car and found it easy to get around the Amalfi coast. Getting to/from the B&B requires some walking, but we didn’t mind it and kept us in good shape.
Cute and small apartment, in a very nice location, close to everything in Castellammare di Stabia. We had everything we needed, it was very clean and just to add an Italian touch, the neighbors were providing us with local, Italian music! It was an amazing experience!
Really very comfortable apartament. Everything was in. The kitchen fully equipped. It was a pleasure to be there. Great and helpfull host. If i will be once again in Castellammare di Stabia i will choose once again La Peonia. Thank You
what a beautiful hotel… we literally can see the mount Vesuvius from our balcony. it was a very pleasant stay. owner upgraded our room to the sea view one. so far our best hotel in Italy.
This is a fine hotel from yesteryear. Location is good and close enough to Castella di Stabio to walk yet away from the hustle of town . Breakfast was very good and the staff pleasant .
