We were sorry we could not stay longer, since the hotel is really nice, with its secluded sea front, and beautiful views to the Tyrrhenian Sea. The room was comfortable, a little terrace also with views to the sea. The dining terrace is a great space, and dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff was always really nice. Once we checked out, we could stay longer at the terrace by the sea, and later used their changing room, available on demand, before leaving. The beautiful city of Cefalu is close by, easy to reach by car or on foot.

Everything was great. You can take long walks in all directions with incredible water views and visit quaint streets and houses.
Hiking up La Rocco is a must for the views but is difficult. Allow time for rest and wear sturdy footwear. I joked it was only fit for goats- then we saw goats.😊
Many restaurants there with good food.
Friendly people throughout this Medieval Beach town.
We enjoyed the beach. It is large and lots of room to walk and was not crowded.
Convenient and economical train transportation in and out of Cefalu so a car is not needed.

Cefalu is a very nice town.
Cefalu is a very nice town. We were visiting during spring time and it was not too crowded, this will probably be different during summer creating a different vibe then. Spending 2 or 3 days in Cefalu was enough for us. The town is situated in a special place, tucked away between the rocky mountain and sea. There are enough restaurants with medium to high quality cooking always for a reasonable price comparison.

It’s a wonderful town on the sea beside a massive rock stack - La Rocca Ecopark. Beautiful buildings in the historic old town centre. Great beach for swimming.
There’s a lot to explore and see. The food options are delicious; and at the end of April the whole place was buzzing with people enjoying themselves. Our stay coincided with Liberation Day.

The Old Town is stunning and the service in cafes and restaurants was very good. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We visited sites from Cinema Paradiso and the lady showing us the cinema was welcoming and informative. The Catherdral and the square it sits in are beautiful and lovely to see the Arab - Norman buildings. Beachfront buildings are beautiful.
Even though it was out of season it was busy so maybe summer it would be too crowded but understandable as so pretty.
Vegetarian food on offer less inventive that in other towns in Sicily but the sights of the Old Town make up for any minor disappointments.

An absolutely charming town, the resort was relaxing, the employees all so nice… Cefalu had incredible beauty and if you are there at easter, the procession to the dome at night was touching. Beautiful plaza in front of the dome. Everything you can imagine in a small sicilian town.

Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily.
Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily. There is abounding natural beauty and many interesting little streets to wander, dotted with shops and restaurants.
Our accomodation was over-priced for the offering.
I was worried when I saw picture of the hotel, that it might be too funcky for my taste, but it is wonderful. The Sea Palace is our favorite place so far as we travel around Sicily for a month. The front desk staff was friendly and made dinner reservations for us each night, as well as recommended a fantastic restaurant. The beach staff too were so helpful. I had just had hip surgery and they were very attentive that I was safe. Cefalu shouldn't be missed. It's a calmer , less crowded place than Taomina and just as beautiful.
The hotel are perfect for us , next in the beach and has a very beautiful swimming pool. The young receptionist and all the staff is very helpful and friendly .. the hotel is A bit far from the center of cefalu , it took us us 20 minutes by walk. Overall the room is spacious and nice , but there’s a weird smell coming from the bathroom.. the breakfast is buffet which has a very nice variety of food. Overall we had a very nice stayed in Hotel tourist.
It is a beautiful, modern, sleek, small hotel just outside the old city of Cefalu that overlooks the beach. Being outside the city, but just step away, parking was easy. The manager, Chelsea, was wonderful and very helpful. We had been skeptical about staying a night in Cefalu in the off-season, but the Abelia made our stay memorable and very comfortable. We highly recommend it, and would definitely stay here again.
I have never received such a warm welcome from a hotel in my life! The whole staff were so kind and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed to make my stay as beautiful as it was. This is over and above the flawless hotel itself, with pretty and comfortable rooms, an amazing view, and a rooftop terrace for the best sunset in Sicily. One night here was the highlight of my whole Sicily trip.
Beautiful swimming pool along with well looked after gardens surrounded by beautiful trees - Good care seems to be given for the environment judging from nearby solar panels and water treatment. The breakfast was really very pleasant and generous ! Staff very helpful and kind. We were transferred to their other hotel so we could use the private beach and the pool! Really great!
The master bedroom was very comfortable and spacious. Bathroom was very clean and modern. We loved the rooftop terrace to watch the sunset. Convenient location for Cefalu. Bottle of water and wine in the fridge was a thoughtful idea. We also borrowed the beach umbrella that came in handy! The whole apartment felt very high end like a hotel!
Beautiful sort of old school hotel right on the beach. Very centrally located, parking nearby. Restaurant in hotel (nice when it's raining...). Had all the amenities we required, which aren't much. Clean and nice. Elevator too. Front desk manned 24 hours. Breakfast buffet quite good. Overall a great place to stay in Cefalu.
Alberto the owner is a very kind and accomodating man. The property is in a nice and tranquil part of Cefalu but still very close to everything. Property has a nice view. Great secure parking for anyone who is driving around Sicily. Rooms clean and well equipped with a fan and aircon, perfect in the summer weather!
Such attentive hosts! Beppe made coming and going from the hotel as easy as can be in a rather challenging locale like the center of historic Cefalù. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the location could not be beat. Generous breakfast included nearby at a café in the Piazza del Duomo.
Great location in the middle of the old town. The apartment is a good size for a couple or a family with younger kids. The town is fantastic with plenty of options for sightseeing or relaxing on the beach. The restaurants are some of the best I've been to in Italy. People are very friendly :)
Very nice family run small hotel. We had even a terrace in our room. The full and tasty breakfast was served right on the big terrace with a wonderful view towards Cefalù and its surroundings. It includes a private parking space and is only a walking distance from the beach and old town.
perfect location and amazing view of cefalu! great air conditioning and wifi and all the rooms feel freshly renovated. the hotel has a beautiful rooftop which is amazing for sunset and then restaurant underneath which is owned by the same family is fabulous. highly recommend!
The hotel is a gem in the area of Cefalu', a wonderful town of Sicily on the sea. The staff is fantastic and the restaurants are of great quality. Calaluna, gourmet restaurant, led by talentous Chef Dario Pandolfo was the best culinary experience of our stay.
Hosts were AMAZING. So nice and helpful. Really made our stay enjoyable. Views and sunset (deluxe double room) was breathtaking. We travelled across Sicily and by far this was our favourite place and hotel. Location is just brilliant. We will be back!
The Sunset Hotel in Cefalu completely exceeded my expectations! The property is very clean and up to date and the staff is excellent and very helpful and friendly! This is the best hotel to stay at when you are traveling to Cefalu!!
Lovely family run Hotel. Stunning views. Pebble beach but they have sand bags to help you get in and out and you have free use of peddalos kayaks etc which is really nice and there is a beach bar. 10/15 min walk into Cefalu.
Villa Toto was beautiful, clean and the attention to detail was fantastic. The staff was attentive and extremely helpful navigating Cefalu and travel around Sicily, in general. I would definitely stay there again.
Hotel had its own beach and it was not crowded like what you would potentially get at the public beach in Cefalu. The location and the view is unbeatable. Walking distance to old town.
