I had the pleasure of staying at a stunning hotel located right in the heart of the old town, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, capturing the charm and history of the area while offering all the modern comforts one could wish for. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. Every member of the team went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect, making me feel right at home. If you're looking for a place with character, comfort, and unparalleled service, this hotel is a must-visit.

Ibla is very nice. We had a little trouble figuring out where to go but after we got there enjoyed it alot. I would not recommend walking up to Ragusa unless you love hiking because it is a big hike with tons of steps

Very good location to visit the Syracuse-Ortigia and the Baroque cities Modica- Ragusa-Sciccly and Noto. We where in Ragusa Ibla, very cozy old Baroque city with good restaurants ( even for Michelin Lovers there where 2 restaurants with stars ) For doing the tour of the Baroque cities you need a car and to driving and parking in the narrow streets you have to kbe not sressy and concentrated. Also good for your work out , there are many stairs up and down in the city.

Ragusa itself is a beautiful town and very walkable, I'd recommend three or four nights to do it justice. As a town it feels like tourism is an 'add-on' and therefore feels very genuine and Sicilian as are the restaurants all of which we thought were excellent. The only downside is the public transport, to go anywhere outside of Regusa we found to be quite a challenge as basically you have to rely on taxis, however maybe the transport issue is what has kept Regusa such a beautiful place so its not all bad!!!

Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily.
Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily. It is surrounded by steep gorges, with the town spreading up three steep linked hills. It's a fantastic place to spend a few hours exploring the narrow steep streets. We found some wonderful shops - intended for tourists, but good value. There were also fantastic eateries and the local people we interacted with all seemed charming and helpful. We ate dinner in La Bettola in Ragusa Ibla, which was delicious and great value.

Ragusa has two parts to it, the old and new.
Ragusa has two parts to it, the old and new. The old city is very beautiful and interesting to explore. The main street is fun with restaurants, shops and a park at the end with wonderful views of the valley and mountains beyond. We did not go up the hill to the new city however so we cannot characterize it.
Exquisite taste, attention to detail, beauty everywhere you look, elegance in abundance, comfort beyond compare, efficient friendly supportive staff, secure parking right there (a bit tricky pulling into the narrow driveway- pull in your side mirrors). Breakfast in abundance as well with pretty much anything you care to order including eggs Benedict. This is indeed a true “vero e proprio” 5 star luxury hotel. And a healthy walk to the old Ibla lower part of town. I must confess, we took a cab back up. no problem.
A lovely surprise in Sicily!
Ragusa - the unexpected! Beautiful city with exemplary clean streets! Exceptional for Sicily. A must visit.
Welcoming people and good restaurants.
About the Hotel - the staff was great, very flexible and helpful - with recommendations and the host also helped to find the Hotel itself and helped carry the baggage.
The breakfast was awesome - really local and very tasteful!
And the view from the common place on top of the Hotel is a lovely surprise.
This is a delightful boutique hotel in the enchanting town of Ragusa Ibla. It is in a perfect location to be able to walk to many of the UNESCO sites in the historic center. It is well maintained and appointed in traditional decor. The staff were consistently helpful and attentive. A buffet breakfast was presented daily and included a vast array of Sicilian pastry specialties. We highly recommend this special hotel.
Absolutely amazing apartment with one of the best views we have ever had! Located just between Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superior, so you can easily access both the old town and the "new" town (note: the climb to the top of Ragusa Superior is pretty intense).
The apartments is very well-equipped, spacious and clean. The host is very communicative, replies to messages instantly.
Highly recommended.
Very good location, easy to park on the street. The room was very nice, high quality. Interesting walking towards to other part of the city with the main attractions and we were able to get back by bus, as advised at the hotel. Breakfast was great, excellent coffee and variety of choices. Ragusa was not on our list for the Sicily Road Trip but I am happy we made the stop there.
The view is outstanding!
Super kind staff : Thanks again, Giuseppe and Michele!
Great place to explore Ragusa Ibla.
Really appreciated the pickup at the parking, the help with the luggage, and the tips to visit Ibla. Super service. 😀
Breakfast was excellent and with nice choices.
It is a very nice location, nicely decorated, with many "wow".
We would definitely come again.
The hotel receptionist was LOVELY, HELPFUL made us feel immediately at home! She helped us with parking AND made a restaurant reservation for us! 5 STARS! The rooms were spotless! The view over the Ibla was breathtaking AND as we requested! Breakfast was DELICIOUS and plenty full! Will highly recommend! THANK YOU!
An apartment in a traditional house in the middle of the old town. Very good location - you're close to both Ragusa Ibla (5-10 minute walk to the Duomo) and the stairs to Ragusa Superiore. Free parking 5 minutes away. The house itself was nice and comfortable for a family of four, with all the facilities.
Comfortable, clean room and bathroom. Check-in and checkout were smooth.
We were glad that the hotel was in the Ragusa Superiore part of town, because we travelled there by train and the walk to/from the station was much shorter and easier than it would have been if we'd been staying in Ragusa Ibla.
It’s a small personal boutique hotel. Individually designed with lots of love and care by the owners. Great location. High end fittings throughout. Great view and minutes from everything in Ibla whilst remains quiet. Looking for person touch with quality. You found it.
The property was located in beautiful Ragusa Ibla. Rooms were very comfortable. Mattresses were absolutely wonderful. Emilio was genuinely kind and gracious host. Breakfast was delicious. We loved our stay!
Excellent location with a view of Ragusa Ibla.
Excellent breakfasts sitting on the terrace.
Really kind and helpful member of staff who looked after us.
Comfortable bed, clean and spacious bedroom.
Nicely located in Ragusa Ibla, this property was really special. In addition to the very comfortable room, the property has a park available only to its guests. The staff were all very attentive.
Literally 20 steps from the best restaurant in the world, where we dined.
Location. Amazing. So central in Ibla, the best part of Ragusa by far.
Vaulted ceilings in local stone were a big plus
Nice accommodation in the middle between Ragusa Superiore and Ragusa Ibla. On the way to Ragusa Ibla, we have the best view of the town. The room was basic, spacious, and very clean.
Pool area gorgeous. Good breakfast too. Room was ok but not in the main part of the hotel. Great location in Ragusa ibla. Liked the complimentary soft drinks, water in the fridge.
Very beautiful room recently renovated. Very close to the dome and all the interesting things to do in Ragusa Ibla. Very pretty terrace with a view of the dome.
Fantastic location with incredible view over Ragusa Ibla, beautiful terrace, parking in front of the hotel is free; fantastic service and recommendations
