Locanda Ca Da Iride, hotel in Riomaggiore

Housed in a typical Ligurian-style building, Locanda Ca Da Iride offers air-conditioned rooms in Riomaggiore, 1 km from the beach. Free WiFi is available in public areas.

The rooms are in the nice colorful house and have a small terrace in the front. The room itself was big enough and clean. Specious bathroom with good shower. I specifically liked the powerful hairdryer, which is exception for the hotels. There is no reception, but it doesn't bather you as the communication with the host is very easy. There is a parking place, which is important for this area if you travel by car. The location is very good, just at the start of pedestrian area of the city.

Scorci Di Mare, hotel in Riomaggiore

Case Vacanze Scorci Di Mare is a 14th-century building set in the Cinque Terre National Park, 50 metres from Riomaggiore’s rocky coast. It offers sea-view rooms with satellite TV.

We were met by Paolo and the team and they really made us feel at home. They gave us great recommendations as to walks, hikes, how to get around, ferries and much much more. The view from the room was fantastic, all we can say was wow. I would definitely recommend Scorci Di Mare to everyone and if I go back to Riomaggioree, I would not stay anywhere else.

what amazing hosts and a fabulous location. We had a fantastic view from our rooms. Sandro was super helpful - willing to give recommendations on restaurants and also stefano came and helped us with our bags . They even let us leave our bags in the locker on our last day. The apartment was super clean, substantial kitchen and rooms were a good size. Great water pressure.

Beautiful Italian town with great restaurants and access to the rest of Cinque Terre. It does suffer from over tourism with crowded towns and trains and the national walking trails were closed when we were there.

Very beautiful town a must see, however extemely high hills and steps, if you are not too fit it can be difficult to manage, there are other towns in cinque terre that are flatter and you can visit Riomaggiore for the day. There is basically one main street with shops and food area which are quite costly. As it is a small area it is very full of travellers so it can be a bit difficult to access some eateries and viewing areas.

    Riomaggiore is quintessential Cinque Terre.

Riomaggiore is quintessential Cinque Terre. It is rugged and beautiful. It is a colorful, bustling fishing village full of friendly people and yummy restaurants, bars, bakeries, little shops, art galleries, etc. And it wasn't as overrun as Vernazza. We stayed on the harbor which I highly recommend. We took a sunset cruise that left steps from our accommodations. After visiting all the towns, it was my favorite, by far.

Riomaggiore was a lovely village to stay in. I am sure all the towns in Cinque Terre are lovely to stay in. One needs to be a bit in shape to do the hiking or even ride the trains but is an adventure not to be missed! The scenery is spectacular.

Wonderful historic town and the trek options between the towns are a treat. The train also makes it so easy to travel to all the towns. We also did a boat trip from Levanto to see Cinque Terra from the beautiful blue sea. Just lovely, a real highlight. There are also lots of choices of places to eat that seemed quite economical.

The host provided us with the code for the lockbox before we arrived. They also provided amazing step-by-step instructions on how to find the apartment from the train station, including a video! Note that for the included breakfast, you need to go to their restaurant near the train station. The host was also amazing at keeping us up-to-date with the weather and notified us when the town may be closed the following day due to the storm that was coming to Cinque Terre. This helped us ensure we had groceries for the next day.

You will feel like at home, maybe even better. Francesca and her husband are great hosts, perhaps the best. Rooms are comfortable, everything you need is there, and even much more. Location is perfect, center of Riomaggiore is justa a few steps away, but on the other hand, location is quiet and in the morning you hear the birds sing. Francesa will take time to explain everything to their guests, there is also info center just around the corner, stay as long as you can, Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre have so much to offer.

Location is everything, and this hotel had it all. There was nothing second everything was top-notched. Oh my, what a view!! The hosts were very friendly and very helpful. Be sure to ask for suggestions. The suggestions that were provided were perfect. Be sure to follow directions to the hotel, including texting the host. You must have breakfast. It was outstanding. They provided a bottle of wine to watch the amazing sunset. Top notched hotel is the best in Italy!! I suggest this hotel to ALL travelers.

This lovely room is in the best location, a short walk to everything you’d want to do in Riomaggiore. Barbara met us at the train station & walked us to the accomodation which was very helpful. She was super friendly and gave great tips on things to do in town and across the Cinque Terre. The room is very clean, the balcony is amazing with surely the best view in town. A small but tasty sweet breakfast was provided as well as coffee. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

The room was spacious, clean and located very convenient for us who travelled by train. Even though the accommodation is placed on the upper parts of Riomaggiore it was easy to bring heavy luggage thanks to the public elevators. Paula was very kind and service minded for example she gave us cava and some breakfast even though it wasn’t included. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience Cinque terre!

The perfect spot from which to explore the Cinque Terre. Riomaggiore is a great town to stay in and Le Case Diamar is well located, clean, modern and really comfortable. Communications with Diana are easy and straightforward and lots of the little details have been carefully thought about (like separate bins for different types of rubbish). Highly recommend this for a few nights in the Cinque Terre.

In my opinion, this was the best place and city to stay in if you are visiting Cinque Terre! The location of this property is right in the marina in riomaggiore! Only a 10 minute walk to the train station and 5 minute walk to the beach! The room was clean and very spacious! Even though you are right in the marina the room is quiet and we had no issues with noise. A must stay in riomaggiore!!!

We felt like staying in Riomaggiore over a bigger town like La Spezia was really part of the experience in Cinque Terre. We loved the proximity of the room with the restaurants, the marina and the train station.

The view from our window is the view that they use to sell tourists on not just Riomaggiore but the whole Cinque Terre region. It couldn't have been better. The room itself was fantastic and huge. Paolo, our host was super friendly and accommodating. Our only complaint about the experience was that we didn't stay longer.
