Set at the heart of the Canarian island of Fuerteventura, this adults only rural hotel is the perfect place for a sunshine getaway, surrounded by the extensive sandy landscapes.
Hotel Era de la Corte has a lovely, family-run atmosphere, which will help you relax while on holiday on the island. Each of the rooms is decorated in a classical-style, with warm-coloured walls and wooden furniture.
Hungary
It is the best rural hotels we have ever been. Our host was very kind, gave us a map and explained everything we need to know about the area and the island, where and when to go, what to do, we could not ask for more. The big, shared kitchen is well equipped with everything for you to prep and cook for any kind of meals. The environment is calm, lovely and romantic in the evening. Other guests were friendly, it felt like everyone had the common goal to just relay and enjoy themselves. There are cats around which we liked. Small local bars nearby to go out for a dinner, shops to refill your stock. We were sad to leave.

Well, a lot of good things were said about the Casa rural La Montañeta Alta before and I can only agree with the previous comments. Maybe I should add the camera obscura in the main bed room. Every morning the surrounding mountains and the clouds (if any) are projected through a tiny knothole in the wooden window blinds onto the opposite wall. Staying there around the time of the winter solstice a signal to rise and start the days activities. Being more or less in the middle of Fuerteventura the Casa is an ideal start point for a multitude of road bike tours that avoid the FV2 completly.

We had a great stay. The house has the perfect location to explore the island. It's well equipped, you' ll find everything you need. We loved the beautiful garden, the birds and the quietness. The communication with the owner was easy and very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Casa Jicara is a lovingly renovated old house. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything you can think of is available. From dishwasher tabs to laundry detergent to even sunscreen. There was plenty of space, both outside and inside. There was an extremely generous welcome basket with food. There was even two little gifts for our girls, so thoughtful! We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommended!

Doramas was extremely helpful and kind. He responded very quickly whenever we reached out to him. The location is very beautiful and the facilities were all there, including grounded coffee and a coffee maker. We enjoyed petting the donkeys and we were allowed to help Doramas feed them :) The chickens are fun to watch and make cute sounds, especially in the morning.

Bedrooms are simple but very clean, with comfortable beds and large storage. Common spaces are so cozy, we loved the library. Some of the bedrooms are inside the "main" house, some are in the old stall, facing a lovely patio.

Although in Antigua shadow is uncommon, the house was pleasantly fresh both day and night, thanks to its ancient structure and to a lovely breeze. The host was extremely helpful and kind, and also allowed us a delayed check-out. Very, very recommended. As the compound has a three sibling houses, it would be a perfect solution also for holidays with friends.

Wasn’t a problem cooking at the same time as other guests. Water, coffee and tea were provided as well as chocolate and cookies.
