Location was excellent. The resort is well positioned to the beach, marina, shops etc. Food was also great but could offer varied options as it did feel a little repetitive. Heated pool was perfect and the staff are wonderful

Lovely resort - everything you could want/need. I will definitely return. We ate at Fado Rock Steakhouse/Restaurant quite a bit - it's so good (food/drinks, ambience and staff). Another favourite place was The Step Inn - always a great (Irish) welcome! Fuerteventura is a wonderful island, nature is virtually unspoiled and although being in a touristic place you have all the space and privacy that you like. At Caleta De Fuste we found a great beach, all required services and lots of dining opportunities at very affordable prices. Climate is almost perfect, wind helps to not feel the temperature even in the hottest days. In 40' driving you can reach most of the nicest beaches and attractions on the island.AndreaItaly - 10Scored 10

The resort is quite close to the airport.
The resort is quite close to the airport. Taxis are well priced and usually available. The journey takes 10 to 15 minutes. There is a bus which will take you to the bus station in Caleta but there might be a fair walk to your accomodation and if you are up the hill it is long way to lug a suitcase. I've been coming for over 30 years and I think the area has been developed well. Check where you are booking your accomodation as some places are located up a steepish hill. There used to be a mini train to take people up the hill but it seems to have dissappeared. There are numerous bars and restaurants serving all manner of food competitively priced. Children are well catered for all overthe resort. If you want a bit more nightlife there are other resorts on the island that might suit you better. I have 2 criticisms of the resort, the pavements and footpaths are not well thought out or executed. They are not maintained and trip hazards are everywhere. Smokers are ruining the area by discarding filter tips all over the place, they can be quite imaginative where they dispose of them. Nothing is done to prevent this, nor is any clean up inititive evident.

C de F has grown considerably since we were last there in 2006. It is continuing to grow with lots of building works in progress. The 4 Km promenade walk is great and lit at night. Plenty of restaurants and bars catering for all tastes and budgets. I would tend to avoid Feb as the NNE winds (Calima) are typically at their strongest and they can blow continuously for many days. The main beach is largely artificial sand but is well laid out, large and with a sheltered cove for swimming. (Lifeguards present)

The building in general was run down inside, cracks in walls and holes in ceilings where leaks had caused problems. Our balcony had guard rails missing which made it unsafe for our little one (repaired when reported) but they were all rusty etc. Not what we were expecting from a 4 star hotel and paying for a junior suite. We are regular visitors to fuerteventura usually stopping in private villas but thought we would try a hotel this occasion. (I don’t) The hotel is right by the shops and restaurants. it’s clearly had a refit and from what I saw everything and I mean everything is new.From the sunbeds to the bathroom. The main attraction for this place in the winter is the toasty warm outdoor pool. Only one of the three was heated but there was still plenty of room for people.
