The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was so nice and water was a good temperature.
Breakfast was amazing.
I would definitely stay here again. Well done, the Boat and Horses!

We booked accommodation, was left no message for keys nor answer from the host. As I cancelled my stay after I was sat outside the property for half an hour I have requested a refund even though the cancellation fee was the booking amount and have been in contact with booking.com and they have asked the host to respond to not only them in regards to a refund but me. Still nothing

Hosts were friendly and welcoming and let us park off the road in their driveway. Area was quiet. Bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was nicely presented. Property was clean.

We stayed in Saddleworth especially for Whit Friday celebrations and although the weather was mixed, it didn’t disappoint. We had beautiful blue skies for our walk in this part of the Peak District. Big skies and rolling moorland, very restorative

While Oldham town centre is much like many others you'd visit, the scenery in the nearby pennines is something else entirely. Walking, cycling and driving are all very enjoyable and there are loads of different routes to take. Snake's pass is a local favourite for motorcyclists. There are loads of beauty spots, just pick a route across from Oldham to Yorkshire and plan to stop for a picnic. One thing you should try in Oldham is a curry or kebab. Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi populations have been long established in the area and the food is affordable and fabulous even from the most basic of take-aways. After moving away from Oldham, I've found the standard of this cuisine isn't matched in many other places.

The room is not children friendly.
The room is not children friendly. It is untidy and the bin is rusty and filled with rotten dirt. The walls have mould and its peeling and the bed sheets are so dirty. The TV remote had no batteries and I couldn't find a way to turn on the heater for my children. When I chatted the host on how to do this, he responded okay. The host is also very rude and a liar. The room I was offered to stay with my kids and wife is room 1 but I rejected it and I had to get a hotel on another platform as booking.com could not provide one. It was a terrible experience for me and my family

Love coming home to Oldham, a trip to watch the latics, followed by seeing family and friends cant be beat
Make sure you check out the many great places to eat, such a great cultured atmosphere.
Transport links are perfect, people are down to earth and its always worth a visit
The hotel was set in a lovely location, ok a bit out in the sticks and on the top of a bill well almost so was a bit cold when I was there but hey it’s winter.. 😆 but it had lovely views over the fields on one side.. and lovely shot at night over Manchester. Got to see it. Love the views of cities by night from the hill tops.. something nice about it. Especially when the stars are out and the lights down below. 😊
The host was amazing. Had a problem with the shower and despite it being a bank holiday it was sorted super quickly.
Facilities were top notch and the house is central to lots of walks, coffee shops and a local supermarket. You can reach pubs, canals and tourists attractions on foot. The train station is in walking distance for trips into Manchester.
Easy to find location and centrally located to Oldham city center (15 minute walk to downtown Oldham). Host greeted me warmly and showed me around the home, then after assuring I was comfortable and settled in, she politely vanished to allow me privacy. The room is huge and comfortable, with a comfy chair and enough room to really feel at home.
We were late and the guy helped us out and was very friendly. On Sunday there is free parking. The bed was okay. We got 2 single rooms. I think this is about all the positive things I can say. There was no real check-out time, but I was happy I was there for the Manchester marathon and had to leave at 7am.
Choice and quality of breakfast was exceptional. Very impressed with how easy it was to get a taxi. In the last two years for family reasons we have had to have a lot of one night stays in the Oldham area and this hotel by far the best hotel we have stayed at.
Once again, the hotel pro-actively reacted to my ambulant disability and provided a room on the ground floor. The bed seemed smaller than previously provided but we were still comfortable. All staff are friendly and willing to banter with you. A lovely stay.
The staff wrote me few days to check what time my parents were arriving, were polite and my parents said they enjoyed Thier stay clean, beds were comfortable and will definitely re book anytime they visiting Manchester again
The hosts are really nice and they treat me like their family. It makes me feel like I am at home. I really recommend anyone who are travelling to Oldham to choose this place, and it is definitely worth it at its price
Great price, decent room, comfy and huge bed, nice view of Manchester skyline from the window. They even let me store my luggage for a few hours while I went to an appointment in town. Excellent customer service.
Property location great for exploring Manchester. 5 minutes walk from the tram station, and parking is available at the hotel. Lift to all floors, and staff were friendly.
