Loved the Acropolis and the Museum. Did a mythology scavenger hunt through the city that was a great way to discover it. Busy roads and walking through the city is not always practical. They are making improvements. Great food and very welcoming people.

The apartment has everything, everything you need to cook and enjoy your stay and swim in the wonderful beaches and pool that the property has. The nearest beach is a 3-minute walk away and is not very crowded. Everywhere there are beaches, deserted and organized. Also there is a parking space for your car as this is a big problem in Athens. Athens is a fabulous city with very friendly people and delicious food at very reasonable prices. There are many places to eat with good quality food and prices to fit everyone's budget. Accommodation can be a little more expensive than some places, and generally, they do not have the best internet quality. It is a very walkable city and the subway system is easy to use. Athens is a beautiful vibrant city with so much to see and do. The historical buildings, museums, parks, lovely squares, art and shopping. The food is amazing and there are lots of vegan places from street food to high end dining. The older areas are fascinating with the flea markets and street stalls. Very good budget places to stay right in the heart of the old city. Great transport options. I recommend a visit of 5 days minimum.

Travelling to Athens was my dream, and it was much better than I had expected. There is so much to see that you don't realize how much you walk daily. Everywhere has an archaeological sight with explanation notes. The city is clean, the people are very receptive, and the food is meat-based and rich in flavour!! It is a fantastic place to visit at least once in your life. Restaurants: I strongly recommend Liondi and My Plate. A visit to the Acropolis and the archaeological museum is a must. The University of Athens is the most beautiful university in the world, so you can also go there.

Apartment was also in a great location with Hadrian's Library just next door, with shops and restaurants just downstairs (no issues with noise though). We wished we could stay longer. Definitely our pick for our next visit to Athens!

Pillows are also comfy! The kitchen is fully equipped. Also despite the fact that in Greece the internet connection is not strong enough, this apartment provides a high-quality wifi connection. The check-in process is also soft and easy and the host allows us an early check-in. We will prefer it in the future for sure!
