I would like to state I was actually disappointed with this stay. I stayed back in August and was very pleased with room and where it was located in the hotel. I returned with family this time and was excited for them to see the wonderful rooms etc only to be let down and put up in one of the out dated rooms with new views etc. also in August we where supplied with bath robes for the leisure centre but these where not provided on this visit. We had bottled water left in our rooms on my last stay and yet again none of this was provided this time round. Due to the weather being amazing and very warm I did ask the bar staff for some I've for the room as we had had to go to local shop to buy bottles of water. When one staff member provided this another member of staff said that it was 5 euros !! Only for another member of staff over hearing this and stepping in to say this charge has now been stopped otherwise I think I would have tried to be charged this amount for ice. ( Not that I would have paid this amount for ice ) !! I did approach the issue with staff at reception about not being happy with the rooms we had been given only to be told there was no other rooms we could have been moved too and robes are no longer supplied. such a disappointment after telling my family all about the amazing rooms and how highly I had talked about my last stay. Also on one occasion we went to leisure centre only to be greeted by swimming lessons which is totally fine. But the fact that the whole pool was being used by three individual lanes where children where in each lane after being told that an area was still available for guests. I would definitely think twice now for rebooking with yous again due to all these issues

Wonderful location for this beautiful original country house and estate beside Lough Swilly. Warm welcome from Irene. We were shown to the Jonathon Swift room, huge room full of antique furniture. The lounge area was one half and down a few steps to the other half with a four poster bed. Large bathroom with shower and modern roll top bath. The dining room had beautifully laid white linen tables for breakfast and dinner, both of which were wonderful. Breakfast was served to your table. Jacqueline and her staff were excellent. Highly recommend.
Located in the heart of Letterkenny, this modern hotel provides an excellent base from which to explore County Donegals renowned golf courses, beaches and countryside.

Catroina was such a lovely host! She made us feel so welcome and she share many great insights about the surrounding area and suggestions for exploring. Her hot breakfast was filling and delicious with French press coffee, as well as a variety of cold/continental options to choose from. Our room & beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a recent addition/remodel. Great shower and overall layout!

We didn't spend much time in Letterkenny other than for dinner. We ate at the Yellow Pepper which i would highly recommend. It's a robust town that i would have liked to explore and the surrounding area but we were on our way to another area of Donegal. We cabbed to dinner so we were able to have a few glasses of wine with dinner. Cabs were easy to get just outside the bank. Quick ride home with good service. Traffic during rush hour was busy although not as busy as a larger city.

Just used it as a base, plus it was a bank holiday and shops were all closed. So left in the morning and didn’t come back until evening. But it was a busy town traffic wise. 3.30 in the morning and traffic was still driving down the Main Street. Could see it but noise wise we couldn’t hear it.

I want to the hotel for a small one nite break but now think it was too short, 2 or more nites wud be more beneficial, the hotel staff were very helpful, the food in the restaurant was 1st class as cud not fault it, the facilities where brilliant as the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi was a bliss just relaxing and no cares, next time 2 or more days as can be used as a base and travel around, 5/5 for me 👍

Letterkenny is a sprawl and would avoid other than to go to a couple the restaurants.
But it’s easily bypassed and there are wonderful scenic drives awaiting. Fanad peninsula - Malin Head for example.

There was a lot more to do in the town than I had initially thought. Good retail shops in the retail park and in the town centre. Cathedral is worth a visit. It is a good centre to stay at for exploring mid to northwest Donegal county. Marble Hill strand, Bloody Foreland and Downings are not too far by car. Camille Thai restaurant was very good value - just on edge of the Retail park past Aldi.

Had a great two days in Letterkenny plenty of shops and a good variety of shops to spend your money. Great places to eat and drink may I say but my only complaint is that you can't get anything to eat before 13.30 on a Sunday .
❗️DO NOT BOOK TO STAY AT THIS PROPERTY❗️
Arrived at the accommodation- door locked and no access from the back. Rang the owner multiple times to which he didn’t answer. We then had to book a hotel costing us a further €200. Another couple arrived and also couldn’t get in or get in contact with the owner. We were left standing on the side of the street with all of our luggage.
This man is a fraud and scammer and I will be taking this further In order to get our money back!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
It is on the best location. Everything in the Letterkenny is walking distance apart. Park house is around the corner. It is as described in the Booking.com. Breakfast warm - traditionally British (egg, ham, sausage, beans, …) and it is not self-served. The cold dishes (beverages, cheese, salami, fruits) are self-served. I miss normal continental bread but this is not just in this hotel it is all around Ireland.
The rooms were spacious.bed was so comfy the hotel staff were so very friendly and very attentive. The food in the restaurant was excellent breakfast and evening meals the hotel location was great a few minutes walk to the main street with loads to do from shopping to a good night out with many gòod bars and restaurants will diffently be back at the station house hotel
Always a beautiful hotel to stay in. Clean and modern.
Food is excellent and staff are 1st class.
Always a hello or greeting when passing.
They left a special gift for my daughter for her Birthday, as this trip was based around her Birthday.
Service like this is amazing.
The hotel is very central but our room wasn't noisy. The room was a nice size and clean. The breakfast was good. We also ate dinner at the hotel and later they had several musicians who played and sang Irish songs. Parking was free.
Nice place, a bit outside the city centre but super convenient if you travel by car (there is no problem parking in Letterkenny). The room was very big, bright and clean. Breakfast was very good and host was kind and helpful.
Everything during my stay at the hotel was perfect, the food, the staff, I couldn't complain about anything, it is such a beautiful hotel, my husband and I really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back
Location was great, right on the main street. Free parking was a bonus. The staff were super friendly, especially Cathal in the Warehouse Bar & Kitchen inside the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here.
The suite was very nice.
Food in the bar was amazing.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely recommend Dillons Hotel.
We had an amazing 2 nights away.
Receptionist at check-in was very nice and welcoming. Room was spacious. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. Hotel in general is nice and spacious
The staff were really helpful and the hotel was really clean especially in the current situation. Really enjoyed our stay here. The food at the restaurant was also very good.
Very nice and clean from check in to check out staff were very welcoming and friendly
We had dinner in the hotel and both times food was great and served well and quickly
Wonderful apartment with incredible views, super clean and well equipped. I have stayed in a lot of holidays homes in Ireland and this has been up there with the best!
Beautiful place to stay. We liked everything about this hotel. French style furniture, view from the window. And breakfast... We would definitely go back
