Well located in the centre of Funchal, Barceló Funchal Oldtown provides air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a fitness centre. This might’ve been my favourite accommodation out of our whole trip (we stayed in 5 different accommodations including this one, as we were travelling all around Portugal). This is a fairly new hotel but it is very high end, has wonderful staff, and location is superior. One of our highlights was the rooftop bar/pool you see in the photos. View was absolutely stunning. It’s steps away from the pier/marina, main city centre and tons of restaurants around. We plan to return to Madeira and spend more days there and we’ll be definitely staying here again. Hope this place succeeds and will still be here when we come back in a few years! Also, the prices were such a steal for high end this hotel is - I’m assuming it’s because it’s a new hotel.

Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Erinomainen aamupala. Tasokas ravintolatarjonta. Hieno uima-allasalue.

NEXT - by Savoy Signature sijaitsee kätevällä paikalla Funchalissa. Hotellissa on ilmastoituja huoneita, ulkouima-allas, maksuton WiFi ja kuntokeskus. Siellä on myös ravintola, puutarha ja sauna. Beautiful design, spacious, modern, clean room with great ocean view! The staff was very nice and helpful! They provided a packed breakfast very early so we could manage an early sunrise hike! I’d highly recommend! The parking onsite was a big plus too!

TURIM Santa Maria Hotel sijaitsee ihanteellisella paikalla Funchalissa. Majoituspaikassa on ilmastoidut huoneet, ulkouima-allas, ilmainen WiFi ja lounge. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Heidän kauttaan onnistui mm. auton vuokraaminen helposti. Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen, hotellissa oli siistiä ja rauhallista. Huone oli myös siisti, hyvänkokoinen ja mukavalla näköalalla.

Kauniilla Madeiran saarella sijaitseva Pestana CR7 Funchal on Pestana Hotelsin ja maailmankuulun jalkapalloilijan Cristiano Ronaldon yhteisomistuksessa. Location in Funchal. Very friendly staff and very welcoming and they adviced us on some good restaurants with great Portuguese taste

Hotel Madeira is a 3-star hotel in Funchal's city centre, close to shops and restaurants. It offers free WiFi access. Each room has a private bathroom with walk-in shower and hairdryer. Good location. The room was clean and had a courtyard which was really, really nice. The noise isolation in the room was excelent. I did not hear any noise during the night. We used the pool and it was very nice as well.

Set within tropical gardens on Madeira Island, this charming guesthouse features far-reaching sea views and 2 outdoor seawater pools, one of which is heated in winter period. Everything about it. Yes the rooms look dated but I love the rustic look

Hotel Catedral offers elegantly decorated rooms in Funchal’s city centre. It features panoramic views of the area. It also offers free WiFi, as well as free parking. The room size and decor was the best. Breakfast and location was very good too! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tämä hyvin suunniteltu Funchalin lahdelle avautuva hotelli sijaitsee Parque Santa Catarina -puiston alueella. Everything was great. The staff were very friendly and courteous including housekeeping. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beds very comfortable. We loved the breakfast, pools, gym, and location. It is in walking distance to the main attractions, great restaurants, and public transportation. The room rate is very good as well.
