Fontana di Trevi
Much to the annoyance of his fellow gods who chose to simply materialise, Oceanus preferred to travel by cumbersome shell-shaped chariot. Constructed in 1762 at the height of the baroque, the Trevi Fountain is one of the world’s most elaborate – and romantic – fountains. The God Oceanus is the fountain’s centrepiece. Swimmers take heed: beware of the vigilant fountain police!

Go early and miss the crowds!
Go early and miss the crowds! We went in the evening, still a fair amount of people were around but the light was fading and we didn't get as nice photo's as we were hoping for. If you want those great insta shots, I cant stress this enough, go SUPER early in the morning

Hard to find (no signage, not even street signs); so crowded we could barely see it (this was in the off season). There were other fountains in Rome that seemed much more attractive. This one just seems famous from the movies and songs.

I saw on travel videos before I got there that the place around the fountain was a zoo. I did not experience that. It was around 3pm when we wandering by and were able to get multple pics of just us enjoying the fountain and tossing a coin.

A lovely fountain - much larger than I imagined.
A lovely fountain - much larger than I imagined. You walk along narrow cobblestone walkways to get there, then suddenly you are in the square looking at this amazing fountain with aqua blue water. A bit of a walk from the bus stop but certainly worth seeing!

Beautiful large iconic fountain tucked away in the midst of many restaurants and gelateria! Don’t forget to ensure a return trip to Rome by turning your back to the fountain, making a wish, and throwing a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand!

The hotel is literally a 20 sec walk from the Trevi Fountain so very ideal. The hotel was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Although The room was a little smaller than anticipated; it was cozy. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Very close to shops and local amenities and walking distance to the main train station and metro. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
Lovely location, very central and ideal for seeing the sights. Beautiful breakfast on the sunny balcony overlooking the Trevi fountain was the highlight. We loved the hotel location but it was busy and if you want a quiet spot this isn't the one for you. Our room was huge, with comfy beds and lovely shower. What more do you need?
The view of Trevi Fountain from our room was breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel was historical and charming it was exactly what we expected and the breakfast was delicious. We loved eating there with the view and drinking amazing cappuccinos.
The hotel's prime location right at the Pantheon offers quick access to major attractions like Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona, with the Spanish Steps just a short walk away. Surrounded by numerous dining options, guests can enjoy meals with views of the Pantheon or explore charming side streets for a true Roman vibe. Our host, Barbara, was exceptionally helpful, providing valuable information about Rome, assisting with all our needs, and arranging our return taxi. We highly recommend this place.
The hotel is located about 10 mins from the train station which is great and easy to access. It is also about 10-15 mins from the Trevi fountain and easy to walk to other tourist spots in Rome.
The shower is really excellent and the beds very comfortable, particularly after a long day exploring Rome on foot!
The breakfast lady is very friendly and welcoming and is an asset to the hotel.
The apartment is located in the very center of Rome. The location is exceptional. In addition to being close to several sights of Rome (Trevi fountain, Spanish steps...), it is surrounded by charming Roman streets full of restaurants, cafes and boutiques. The apartment had everything needed for a short stay. The next time we come to Rome, we will definitely stay here.
Clean and tidy apartment - location perfect and hosted wonderfully. Quiet street but so close to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Barberini Metro 150m away so perfect base for exploring Rome.

Rome has lots of lovely romantic spots such as the Trevi Fountain which is stunning for a romantic stroll at night time. There are lots of romantic restaurants dotted around too and if you really want to take romantic to a new level then I recommend visiting the Mirabelle restaurant - a rooftop restaurant with a terrace overlooking Rome. It is very pricey but it is stunning.
