This was the best unexpected experience! We went to this charming place fr new years and I couldnt imagine more family-like cozy place :) the food was just amazing! Ive tasted so many new flavors. And the owners were the most warm and friendly people. Not even mentioning the movie nights :) weve enjoyed the stay a lot!

One of the few places with air-conditioning in Bohemian Switzerland, we really enjoyed the air-conditioning since the days were hot in summer. Room and bed was comfy, shower was excellent with good water pressure. Simple, but enough and fulfilling breakfast, also bean coffee for free. The on-site restaurant dishes are good and large portioned. Free private parking. Right next to Schaunstein castle. And mostly, all the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Surrounded by the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, 6 km from the centre of Hřensko, U Fořta Mezní Louka offers an on-site restaurant with a terrace. Practically everything. I have been travelling through Czech Republic for 13 years and know lots of hotels: good and not quite so good, luxurious and basic. U Fořta tops the lot. They are simply fantastic: friendly, smiling and competent; the room was comfortable and very well-equipped. Returning from my endless walks through the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, I always found a real quiet and coziness in my room, could get a true rest I so needed. The Hajenka restaurant offers some exceptional dishes (try their kroupoto or game). To all the staff of the U Fořta resort I would like to say a big thank you :-)

Founded in 1892 by prince Edmund von Clary-Aldringen, the charming the Mezní Louka in the heart of the picturesque Bohemian Switzerland offers cosy rooms and tasty Czech cuisine. the location could be the best, if a few paths wouldn’t be closed because of the summer fires and falling trees danger. check current situation if this is an important factor for you. Also, the prices at the restaurant are relatively OK, the beer was cheap and tasty.
