We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and caring to this beautiful country inn right on the Dordogne River. Sitting on the patio looking out over the valley was a bit of heaven! The dining room was lovely. It was a fine base to visit nearby Sarlat La Canadia and to see other ancient buildings in the Dordogne area.

The location was tranquil and beautiful. I loved the nearby stone village which was exceedingly quiet. The breakfast was outstanding with homemade jams. The host and his niece were extremely helpful and friendly. I want to return ASAP! This was all I want in a holiday.

Reclaimed wood and furniture was smartly repurposed. It was an  unforgettable experience to live and experience how environmentally designed spaces can be so comfortable and joyous !!

Hôtel-Restaurant Les Collines is a 6-minute drive from the centre of Cublac and 10 km from the A89 motorway. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and a terrace with sunbeds. It’s really difficult as a family of 5 to find a hotel room, even better is we were able to have a lovely evening meal which was really good value. We look forward to staying here again
