This place is what hospitality is all about, they have everything covered. Pity the restaurant is closed at this time of year but totally understand why. We had breakfast which was great. We hope to visit this hotel again when it's fully functioning and can try the food there too. Thanks all!

The refurbished Ship Inn is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Galloway. Although this was a very last minute, one night only booking, and we didn't get to experience the full package right down to breakfast or dinner, the hotel 150% met our expectations. Room was spacious, clean with modern, also very clean bathroom. Couldn't have asked for better. Will definitely book The Ship Inn again should we find ourselves in the area.
