The bacon, sausages and eggs were fresh and local produce. The location is a small and very picturesque village and our beautifully decorated bedroom had a view of the downs and the White Horse. We are gluten and dairy free and this did not impede our choice of food at all. Little touches like gluten-free biscuits in the bedroom were especially appreciated! The landlady was very caring, capable and charming as was the waitress.

The hotel is so steeped in unique history and each nook and crannies reflects this beauty. Our room ( #1)was fantastic.I The Secret Garden was indeed a lovely secret haven for afternoon tea.

Junto al The Langford Inn hay 2 graneros remodelados del siglo XVII que cuentan con habitaciones con baño que presentan vigas expuestas, ladrillos originales, suelos de roble y todos los lujos... I was warmly greeted and shown to my room. The room is absolutely lovely. They provided many extras. I had Prosecco and an IPA waiting for me when I arrived. The bed is fabulous. The shower was good water pressure and very warm. The linens were very plush and towels huge. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate provided. I ate dinner there and had a wonderful dining experience. Andrew fixed me a bag of food items for the early departure since I would miss breakfast. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I would caution that if you’re a very light sleeper, there are some sounds that might wake you. The cars leaving might be the loudest but they are gone, but I was there when a very large dinner party was happening. I will definitely go there again. It was only a 10 minute drive (easy drive for an American) back to the car rental return. Then a bus to the airport.

Una bonita ciudad. Cerca de Dunster, que merece una visita. Y cerca de la costa norte de Somerset, que sin duda ofrece pueblos bonitos, como Lynton,Lynmouth, Porlock...que hay que visitar.
