This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. The hotel was beautiful. Everything was decorated beautifully. Our room was so big and the beds were nice and comfy.

Special thanks to Orla from reception for arranging a picnic for two for us at a lovely boathouse. We will definitely come back.

I love the breakfast and the fact that the hotel is in the heart of Cavan. Easy to park behind and get around the town.

Beautifully situated, plenty of space in the rooms, bar & kitchen were excellent and the staff were second to none. So helpful & friendly, I'd recommend Lakeside Manor to anyone
