Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. Vanessa greeted us for breakfast, she was friendly and took the extra time to answer our questions regarding the property. This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. The hotel was beautiful. Everything was decorated beautifully. Our room was so big and the beds were nice and comfy.

Everything. The location is so peaceful with beautiful trails and gardens around the hotel. The staff goes extra mile to make the stay memorable. Special thanks to Orla from reception for arranging a picnic for two for us at a lovely boathouse. We will definitely come back.

Situated in the centre of Cavan town on the main street, The Farnham Arms Hotel features a bar and restaurant. Food was excellent, staff were very helpful and always friendly. Lovely hotel. Such a welcome change from the big chain hotels!!!

Situated in Arvagh, 21 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre, Breffni Arms Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Wonderful hotel and amazing family running the establishment and they could not to do more for us. Amazing breakfast included and we ate dinner there both nights because the food and people were so wonderful!! So helpful for suggestions on local attractions and transportation. This is a must stay!

Featuring free WiFi, Lakeside Manor Hotel is located on the Cavan/Meath border, 11 km from Loughcrew Historical Gardens & Visitor Centre. Free private parking is available on site. Beautifully situated, plenty of space in the rooms, bar & kitchen were excellent and the staff were second to none. So helpful & friendly, I'd recommend Lakeside Manor to anyone
