Just around the corner from Oppdal Train Station, this hotel dates back to 1924. It offers free parking and rooms with free WiFi and a private bathroom. Oppdal Ski Centre is a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast and hotel restaurant was amazing. My favorite breakfast on the trip and an excellent dinner for a decent price (compared to other Norway restaurants price wise).

Everything was just perfect, we did not expect this very high level and were very positively surprised. Good for spending a night along the road. Located right beside the main road (E6) that goes from south to north all through Norway. It is only a few minutes drive from Oppdal, the nearest town. Nearby you can go skiing, cycling, mountain hiking etc. Friendly staff and great food in the restaurant.

Situated in Oppdal in the Sør-Trøndelag region, Vekve Hyttetun features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Second time I stayed at Vekve Hyttetun. Once again it was an excellent base to explore Dovrefell national park. Oppdal is only 25mins away from Kongsvol train station where you can hike to the DNT hut Reinheim or search around for Musk Ox to photograph. Friendly owner and the cabins are super comfortable and warm.

Featuring free WiFi, this bed and breakfast is located 7.8 km from Oppdal centre and ski resort. Free private parking is available on site. The accomodation in old wooden houses is very unqiue. Still they offer all the comfort one expects from a hotel. For our party of 3 we had a whole house with 2 double rooms and one bathroom, which is completely modern. The breakfast buffet (served from 8:30) offered a large, high-quality selection. As we had asked in the booking they had even organized some vegan alternatives.
