We loved absolutely everything about this gem of a property: the location in a stunning natural environment, the adorable staff, the unique history and decor of the hotel full of collectible and heirloom furniture and, of course the wonderful dinner. Food certainly was a highlight as this is generally where Norway fails to impress us. We were served a fresh, creative, and delicious dinner in the beautiful dining room overlooking the fjell. The chef even adjusted the menu for the vegetarians among us, creating genuine new dishes for us. Wow! Again, that was unexpected as eating veg in Norway is often a challenge. Everything felt authentic and personal in this independently-run property. Dinner starts with a presentation of the history of the place by the owner, their struggles during Covid and how they overcame them. Charmingly, this introduction included the reading of a poem (sadly we don’t understand Norwegian so had to rely on the translation of the presentation afterwards). Every effort is made to be sustainable : There’s a vegetable garden, the delicious bread is baked on the premisses (we took a box of the amazing Flatbrød with us) and the lovely shop sells some local cheese, honey and other specialties including, this being Norway, sweets :) We are already dreaming of a next stay to the Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to experience more of its magic and of the stunning nature around it as our stay this time was way too short. Note to the owners: stay as you are, you are a genuine gem and the world needs more places like yours. Thank you for everything!

Hotel is located in very calm area, surrounded by gorgeous Norwegian wild forests. We have been here out of the main season, thanks to that hotel was pretty empty. For a special attention hotel restaurant deserves. Both breakfasts and dinners are prepared on the highest level. Breakfast is very diverse and beautifully served. You will definitely find something for yourself. For dinner we can have very limited number of dishes but those are amazing. I think it is advantage, because it makes you sure they are made of fresh ingredients. For a special attention deserves the waiter (bald man with a beard and huge muscles 😂). He was very talkative and helpful and professional 👏🏻. (He definitely deserves pay raise 😊) we felt really taken care of.

Το Lifjellstua έχει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Lifjell. Αυτό το κατάλυμα, εκτός από 24ωρη ρεσεψιόν, προσφέρει επίσης στους επισκέπτες εστιατόριο και παιδική χαρά. Location, simplicity. I would definitely go again and recommend!

Προσφέρει δωρεάν Wi-Fi και καταλύματα με γραφική θέα. rooms were simple but extremely clean. there was a nice sitting area with a great view, good lighting, strong Wi-Fi, and a great remodelled bathroom. breakfast was outstanding and mat pakke was reasonably priced if you needed it. staff were very nice and the common areas were cozy with different sitting areas.

Located 180 km from Oslo, 440 km from Gothenburg, in the heart of Telemark you will find Gausta at 1000 m altitude above Rjukan and Vestfjorddalen. Excellent facilities and view!

All the staff from front desk to restaurant were exceptional. Special praise for Joao and Lorenzo . We learned so much about wine and cocktails from them.

Situated by the town hall in Skien city centre, Thon Hotel Høyers offers free WiFi and private parking is possible. Good breakfast not among the best hotel breakfast but it was enough for me.

Το Gausta View Lodge βρίσκεται σε Gaustablikk, σε απόσταση 3,4 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Gaustatoppen και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, βεράντα και απευθείας... Lovely place to stay for ski in ski out, nice breakfast across the street, will defiantly stay there again. friendly and helpful staff.

Το Henriks Hotell βρίσκεται σε Skien, σε απόσταση 400μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Telemark Kanal και παρέχει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi and δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Everything is clean Staff and owner is really nice.
