The location is also nice to reach restaurants, cafes, historical sites and bus station in walking distance. The host is super nice and friendly, you can get an offer from him if you need a car/bike rental.

Everything was very accessible starting with the beach, 4 pools, bars, food and amusement zones for the kids. We had a room with “sea view “ and it was amazing. It was very spacious and quite comfortable with a big bed. The food was incredible!! Each day had a theme and you didn’t had time enough to taste every dish. You had the possibility to try for free 2 other restaurants but honestly the main one is enough. The deserts were my favorite part of the meal each time 🙌❤️

Situato sull'Isola di Kos, a circa 900 metri dalla spiaggia sabbiosa di Tigaki, l'Ilios Hotel vanta 2 piscine, una vasca idromassaggio, un ristorante immerso in un rigoglioso giardino e sistemazioni... Ilios Hotel is a team of professionals led by Dimitra to meet all the needs of guests. It is necessary to note the large size of the rooms, which are regularly cleaned. The beds are wide and comfortable. The view out of our room was on the main pool, surrounded by amazing mountains - a stunning view! It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, but you can use a hotel bus, going regularly. This is very useful for families with carriages and materaces)). Beautiful Greek-themed paintings are hung everywhere in the hotel, a whole museum! We should admit a very friendly staff of Ilios! Thanks them a lot!!!! My favorite meal was having breakfast on the terrace - when you look at the salt lakes, drink coffee and listen to good Greek music. Lunches and dinners are served in the restaurant at beautifully set tables. After-parties are held in the pool bar, and evening drinks are served in the main bar, where you can have an evening fun! Recommend!

Dimitra Beach Hotel & suites is a 5-star all-inclusive resort in the popular Agios Fokas village of Kos that offers 6 swimming pools and 3 restaurants in a beachfront setting. Situato nella punta più a est dell'isola, si affaccia sul mare che la separa dalla Turchia. Si estende per un bel tratto di costa. Sempre ventilato, quel necessario per non soffrire il caldo estivo. La cosa che prima di tutto mi ha veramente colpito è la pulizia. Ovunque si vada è eccezionalmente pulito. Il personale è particolarmente attento. L'ospitalità è discreta ma sempre pronta a soddisfare qualsiasi necessità o esigenza. I luoghi sono eleganti e ben distribuiti. Quattro piscine ed una spiaggia privata. Parcheggio. Tre ristoranti. Sei bar. Una SPA. Due lounge adults only ma anche mini club per bambini. Un mini market. La nostra camera rialzata, aveva un panorama bellissimo. Ampia, con un letto matrimoniale ed un divano letto. Il bagno era "scomposto" se così si può dire: il water è doccia da una parte, con porta, dall'altra i due lavandini, che facevano parte della stanza, separati solo da un muretto e specchi a vista. Non c'è il bidet, che per noi italiani è importante, ma gli italiani qui sono in minoranza. Il caffè in camera (cialde Illi) e quanto in frigo, tutto incluso nel prezzo. La cena a buffet è inclusa nel prezzo. Il silenzio la sera e la notte è assicurato. La colazione si serve in due ristoranti. La più ricca e quella dove la sera si tiene il buffet. Colazione internazionale, c'è di tutto. L'espresso però non ve lo consiglio, perché non è proprio un espresso. Il buffet della sera offre molte pietanze, ma ci siamo fermati solo la prima sera. Non è di qualità, molto più di quantità. Abbiamo invece cenato nel ristorante a la carte dedicato alla cucina greca, ed abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. Il costo per una settimana è commisurato alla qualità dell'offerta. Si raggiunge la citta di Kos in 10 minuti di macchina e si può arrivare fino alla parte opposta dell'isola in 45/50 minuti. Siamo molto soddisfatti della scelta. La vacanza è stata rilassante. Molto più di quello che ci aspettavamo.

Many years ago, during the first days in medical school, the professor told the new students in his introductory lecture: "Once in a lifetime, you have to visit Kos, the birthplace of medicine !" This summer, my wife and I finally did it. It was certainly one of the most memorable trips of our lifes and this is due - in addition to visiting the Asklepion where Hippokrates taught and practiced - to this fantastic resort. The Mitsis Blue Domes is located on a nice beach, has about ten or twelve pools as well as private pools with some rooms (we were lucky to have one of these, see pic). The whole resort meets the highest standards, everything is incredibly clean, the choice of restaurants (it's an all-inclusive) is just phenomenal. Most of all, the staff needs to be mentioned; they are efficient, helpful and immensely friendly and warm-hearted (we even shed a few tears when saying goodbye to the nice ladies ad guys in the main restaurant). The same applies to the housekeeping - when we returned from breakfast around 9 a.m., the room was already cleaned, fresh towels were provided etc. The food was fantastic, the drinks great. We ate most of the time in the main restaurant; the "theme restaurants" like Italien, Sushi etc. require advance reservation (which we didn't know - but didn't care; the buffets in the main restaurants left nothing to be desired). The same applies to the location. The airport is about 12 minutes by taxi away, to Kos City it's a 25-minute ride. In the evening, there is always entertainment, life music and/or shows. We loved to sit at the main bar area after sunset, enjoy the drinks and just be happy that we finally made it to Kos - and that we picked this fabulous resort!
