The unique design of the canal side apartment where we could sit out for coffee, wine, etc. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean with all the comforts needed including fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very, very comfortable and the apartment totally quiet at night at bedtime. Outstanding location in Utrecht--10 minute walk to train station for easy rides into Amsterdam and short walk to all restaurants and cafes. Hosts Bert and Claire were outstanding---communication prior to our stay was always very prompt and responsive. 10 stars to our hosts for their warm, friendly and kind hospitality. Do yourself a favor when visiting Amsterdam: ditch the crowded city for your stay and head to Loft 188 in Utrecht. I guarantee you won't regret it for one minute

Wonderful facilities. Although I think a word could be said the the restaurant not to empty there glass bottles at 630 in the morning!

De bekende kaasstad Gouda is in 20 minuten rijden te bereiken. this accommodation is super cool, in the “middle of nowhere”, no stress no rush no pressure. for those who like to feel the real farm life it is perfect. the owners are very nice and friendly.
