Location was perfect! The host answered our messages very promptly and was very accommodating. The outside photo from the river is green building directly below Citadel. Gorgeous view of the river. Extremely short walk to Cathedral and Citadel lift. We found the bed to be most comfortable.

Very interesting place, with a spectacular fortress on a high cliff; impressive architecture; the Lefe beer museum is a little more commercialised than I like; the cave Grotte La merveilleuse is impressive. There are several castles and castle ruins around from different historical periods. Great place to visit! Kayaking and rock climbing is also a thing here, although it's not our cup of tea.

Beautifull small village in a very nice location. The castle offers a nice experience and you can have good food in Dinant. There are a lot of short excursions you can have starting from Dinant. A very nice destination for a short vacation.

went for a weekend to explore, beautiful place. the one ticket that includes the cable car, tour of the citadel and then the boat trip is a bargain, next time Ill choose the 2hr boat trip instead of the 45 minutes, so relaxing. lots of resteraunts to choose from although it pays to book ahead in the evenings. the town itself is very clean and tidy, no rubbish anywhere.CLIVE FORDUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

The covered parking (private garage with an electric roller-shutter door) was really helpful to us as we had an SUV with a roof-box and the vehicle fitted in to the garage easily. Good communications from the owner and a very nice apartment. Note: The stairs are steep so someone with mobility issues may have problems - suggest you discuss with owner if this could be a concern. The room was divided in a bedroom (with airconditioning!) And a separate room with infrared sauna and bathroom. All was very nicely decorated and there was also a very large balcony to enjoy with a view of the garden. The bed was super comfy, and the breakfast is very nice as well. Very much fun to take a Leffe tour and have some beers on the patio of the hotel, and within 10 minutes walking you are at the Dinant citadel so the location could also not be any better.LauraBelgium
